Its SUPERB that Samsung is using the MediaTek’s Dimensity 720 chipset, because Mediatek's chipsets are great for the price and node size. Until Samsung masters the midrange at all budgets and node sizes, it should continue to use Mediatek SoCs for the mid and lower mid range, along with the low end of smartphones.

i know it's not budget phone but it specs just like one (2GB RAM, 16GB storage, Android 9, etc)
and, no, it's not painfully slow.
it may not be as fast as flagship phones, but it's not slowi.

On my openion samsung need to upgrade their by chip and processor not by design...
At every new phone they need to install snapdragon above than 800
