Are they going to make a smartwartch with Bluetooth 5.0 or 5.1? Coz I gave it a pass the last time and chose Huawei instead...

So actually worse MK watches than they already have out. Only because of the lte? Seriously.

"The Fossil Gen 5 LTE Touchscreen Smartwatch joins the current Gen 5 series. It’s powered by a Snapdragon Wear 3100"

This is a joke? This must be a joke? A brand new 349$ watch with this prehistoric SoC?

And there are no watches with last year's Qualcomm 4100 chip?
                    What the hell!

E-ink is a no-brainer on a smartwatch, it is low power as it only require energy to change the pixels that need to be updated, it can keep showing the same image without taking any power, meaning you can go as low as updating every second and only the relevant pixels, or even better if you don't show the seconds hand or as text, you can update once per minute, that's serious battery saving here.
But most importantly, you don't need backlighting to see the display in plain day and can still have one for low light.
