The greenwashing video doesn't address that at all.
I have an old S7 lying around that can barely hold a charge. If it was an S5, I could replace the battery, but most of their phones since have sealed batteries. Are they going to make more phones with replaceable batteries now? Doubtful.

That's good that Samsung is at least trying to put some effort into giving us ideas what to do with our older unused phones.
