Wily2021, 12 Jan 2021Are intel chips worse than AMD if you don't do gaming? i've always been Intel guy an... moreAt 1080P they are basically the same for gaming (Zen 3). At 1440P and up it's more GPU bound and basically no difference for gaming. AMD is more power efficient at the moment and has a better plattform with more Gen 4 SSD lanes support.

Are intel chips worse than AMD if you don't do gaming? i've always been Intel guy and think they just work better and faster overall but i have no experience with AMD from many many years. I bought last year intel i9 machine and it's blazin fast and never had any slowdowns it's like rocket really, no matter what i do with it, yet most tech people talk about AMD or atleast that picture i get that intel is behind a lot of AMD.

Wasn't last year intel already announced 11th gen?
Is this 11.5 gen?
or 12nd gen?
