If anything they actually reduced many of those features trying to make it iOS like. And iOS copied many useful features from android as well.
I think the one who copied the most should be iOS. But since google itself has given up on android for tablets, ipad is a better options for casual users who just want a tablet to read ebooks, browse the Internet etc. Rather than the pro, the mini is probably the best tablet out there.

Would be nice if the 12.9" one got a real 4k display.
With OS X becoming ARM based, we might see some great changes in the ipad OS that would get it closer to a full OS rather than a glorified ipod touch.
Honestly, they don't need to change the design. It's already great anyway.

See, it proves that Apple suckers just ToyOS devices to show off that they have more money than brains. lol.

Never really got into that splitscreen multitasking stuff. With such a small screen the usability just isn't good and changing between apps is blazin fast and effortless anyway.
I do my multitasking on a pc with my 32" screen where it's actualle very good and have lot of space.

[deleted post]Hahaha. Toypad that can't even do REAL MULTITASKING, only CRIPPLED MULTITASKING with only two to three selected apps side by side and a floating widget, unlike several Android tablets that have REAL PC STYLE MULTITASKING on almost all apps thru a desktop mode.

Been waiting this new 11” pro for long time, hope it’s finally coming, there’s been so many different rumours. Also hope it has new screen tech like it’s big brother. There also been rumours that only the big one will get new screen. So let’s see what kind of device it’s going to be.

the current ipad air fingerprint reader is in the power button, not on a recessed spot on the right side... the recessed spot is literally just a cut-out for the apple pencil conductive charging spot

Oof, very Apple-ish move indeed. Don't get me wrong, of course I agree that A12Z still fast, I'm just hoping they better wait till they could bring the next-gen Processor as well if they about to call it 5th gen iPad Pro, rather than some minor changes and call it next gen (5th gen) iPad Pro.
