Morsel, 12 Jan 2021I liked the Old Edge, The new one is a copy of Chrome and has lost all the advantages that I loved. What? I can't see how edge is a copy of Chrome. Did you really tried them both?

Vasra, 12 Jan 2021Believe when I see it. Even nVidia is having voltage leakage and power draw issues with Samsun... moreIf so then the same applies to Qualcomm and so you cannot buy a flagship except if it's Huawei

DaFink, 12 Jan 2021Should be an improvement over recent efforts at least. Good move ditching the in house custom ... moreActually it was a bad move.
Cause it did away with the custom cores altogether. And before they tried going into in house large cored their normal custom arm cores were more powerful and efficient.
And even their custom large cores with a little more time and a reality check to big wigs on performance/efficiency vs test score numbers could have seen some big strides.

But now it all went down the drain.

Vasra, 12 Jan 2021Believe when I see it. Even nVidia is having voltage leakage and power draw issues with Samsun... moreNVIDIA has been using Samsung node since 2016(GTX 10xx series).
So, your accusation feels like a barking ignorant.
It's normal for a GPU to have power spike and extra voltage draw.

Believe when I see it. Even nVidia is having voltage leakage and power draw issues with Samsung's "7 nm". Exynos 2100 will be another battery and power hog.

A much needed improved over Exynos 990 after last year fiasco. Let’s hope all the claims that Samsung is making materialise in the final product i.e. Galaxy S21🤞

Firewarrior96, 12 Jan 2021really I still didn't find any info about that . if it turns out true high clock speed on... moreLess cores will result in less power consumption and lower performance. A higher clock speed will result in more power consumption and higher performance. There are two ways to achieve a balance: use less cores and a higher clock speed or use more cores and a lower clock speed. The results should be pretty much the same.

we all know how huawei devices always prioritize battery life , also mi11 is the only phone we know about so far ,better wait for more phones to be tested to get average perf.

My point was about performance of Exynos using only 14cores . but who knows maybe each core of G78 has high frequency than Kirin 24Cores.

Irl, it will perform the same as others current soc ... yes... that included kirin 9000.

It hard to notice real life improvements nowadays.. unless the software is really crap like xiaomi miui.

All I want to see is if this chipset will have throttling and heat issue like the previous Exynos 990.

Android Authority, 12 Jan 2021The MP24 cores on the Kirin 9000 are lower clocked to prevent excessive heat. Let's hope... morereally I still didn't find any info about that . if it turns out true high clock speed on CPU + GPU will result a bad result hope I'm wrong since we need more competition.
