Now this is intriguing. Either Qualcomm will make an underclocked variant of the 888 (possibly called 888 Lite) or Motorola themselves will do the underclocking in-house with the existing SD 888 chipset.

Hope they fix the lines on the side of the display that the previous generation had!
I think the chip's performance will be between the Snapdragon 888 and 865 or between the 855 and 865. Would be powerful anyway because it's a 800 series chip

Their edge and edge+ were great phones. This would be a banger if correctly done and marketed.
Motorola is slowly and gradually getting back in the game.

Replace the x1 core in sd888 with a78 core?
Either way it will be below sd888 and slightly above sd865+
