I'm not a close-minded person. But when I do, I will keep the price of €850 in the back of my head. That's more than what most flagships would have costed a few years ago, and I don't think there are many more plastic phones at that price, if any. So the S21 has to feel as premium as those.

Glass backs however don't scratch as easily, and when I put my phone in a case, some small particles will be more likely to leave marks in plastic. Also, I don't like micro plastic even if the production of glass/metal may be more power consuming.
I don't "need" it but if I went with what I need, I could easily use a 2015 flagship as long as it has a fingerprint reader. And that costs maybe €85 on the used market, not €850. (But that old flagship will probably have a metal/glass back). At that price, a plastic back is an insult plain and simple.

Battery optimisation thus requiring a large battery is a necessity these days. So no follow up for S10e ( my favoirite device) by Samsung. But the S21 lineup is a huge let down from design perspective and none of the colors is an eye-catcher. The only good thing seems to the chip. But Samsung seems to have followed the Note 20 pattern, which i think will eventually fail. And if they are not giving chargers in box, they should not have kicked Apple(atleast iPhone were not a downgrade, if not a major upgrade)
