ethereal, 15 Jan 2021So in the end it's all about money! Where are the ethics? I'm seeing many & many... moreWhen was ever about something else? In a era where people buy china crapp loaded with google and, again china crapp software, like peanuts i'm actually suprised to se some complaining about fitbit acquisition.

Sleeping pills will sell like candy after the acquisition and the access on sleep data.

This is good news, for consumers, fitbit & WearOS, security for health data is secured & US just taking too long so its right for google to go ahead with the takeover, as If google does not take over Fitbit, fitbit will collapse within a few years, they have been looking for a buyer for a while.

Yeah Google tends to ruin everything or they simply stop supporting it.

I guess Google is trying to give the Federal government as much evidence as possible that it's an anticompetitive behemoth that needs to be broken up.

Also, prepare for Google to ruin everything about Fitbit that users like. That's basically the point of acquisitions.

Google must be rubbing their hands together like an Evil villian at the amount of data they are going to get.

So in the end it's all about money! Where are the ethics? I'm seeing many & many companies doing the same.

                              To Google:
Please do not start sending any ads to my versa just yet. I would hate to see if Google does same to Fitbit just like FB did to whatsapp.
