And who gets this mysterious $200 credit, only users with positive reviews?

Very much disappointed with Samsung's decision to take a brick out of the box. I always thought Samsung will not do what Apple does. But this step purely shows Samsung is walking on Apple's trails. Prices are getting up, Battery does not have any significant upgrade and Samsung does not provide fast chargers like Oneplus, etc. And now no brick at all. :(

Anonymous, 16 Jan 2021I know Gsmarena will not allow this comment, because of afraid of shamesong, but I'll try... moreWhy would you pay $60 for a charging brick? The phones themselves are cheaper than years before. These days, a lot of people already own a USB-C to USB-C brick anyway.

$200 for accessories means FREE GalaxyBudsPro and a FREE S-Pen.

The case, sure, you could spend $60 for a case but I don't know of any company that includes a phone case over a $5 value in the box. Ever. You'd have to buy that anyway.
Same with the screen protection. Most screen covers (especially the ones worth buying) are 3rd party and people buy them after the fact. That's where things get tricky because of Samsung's Ultra-Sonic Fingerprint Scanner. Personally, I've only ever found one company that makes a good one that works with the tech. It has to be applied with UV resin and whatnot. Not cheap. It's like $30. But no big brand company includes a screen protector in the box these days really. It's usually just that crappy plastic one.
Oh yeah, I've also seen a glass screen protector that has a hole cut out for your fingerprint but who wants that anyway?

"Shamesong" as you call them, brought the price down. It's what the companies are doing these days. Nothing that comes included with any phone you've bought is "free". You pay for every bit. They don't include it and don't charge you for it either so there's no point in complaining.

joe nodden, 17 Jan 2021Removal of the charger. Plastic back. Lower resolution display. Overheating unstable chipset. ... moreThe thing is even tho it's lower resolution but it won't make much difference since many users om s20 and note20 series were using the screen on Full HD for 120 hz screen refresh rate ... so it's not a big deal
Secondly, camera has enhanced even tho the MP count has stayed the same .. screen is much brighter because I have compared my s20+ with s21+ and personally these are the differences I found out

I know Gsmarena will not allow this comment, because of afraid of shamesong, but I'll try...
Shamesong is smart, $200 SHAMESONG Credit for accesoires, customers must spend that money on Shamesong.
There is no charger in the box, so at least $60 goes for that. No earphone $60 for that, s21 supports S-Pen so lets say $40 for that, now we have $40 left...
$1250 device needs protection, $60 for case...
Upps, customer needs to put $20 more...
Thats it?
No...
Screen also needs to be protected...
$20 for shammy protection...
Customer has to pay $20 extra...

Shamesong gives $200 because essential accesoires are missing in the box, actually simple math...
Shamesong gives nothing...
