A world where absence of 3.5mm jack, memory card and an updated fast charger is a great thing... That world is not for me. None of these phones are for me.
(I have memory cards with my past data, chargers but slow ones for this age and plenty of 3.5mm ear/headphones)
I have a LG G8x and it gives awesome audio quality, with decent cameras, that's all I need for now. At $350 when I got it, it was awesomeness.
Voted "not for me", in all categories here.
I can't accept trends just because world is foolish enough to. I'm wiser than them, isn't it clear yet?
So underwhelmed by these new phones...
S21U is fantastic!
but i need the microSD, and a proper s-pen....and i like the boxy design.
so will pre-order the Note21Ultra instead.
Chinese offers are more tempting, my money will go to either Huawei P50 (I don't care about gms) or Xiaomi Mi 11.
Way way too expensive, half the prize and i would consider... If only the actual device has flat screen, big battery, Quick charging and the fastest of tech inside. Oohh yeah and good low light camera...

1. Not having MicroSD (it wil... more1)I use microSD to store my old media, in which case it doesn't cause slowdowns. I don't use cloud, because Internet in my country is pretty unstable and I don't like the idea of offloading my media to my computer when I pay so much for a phone. Also, microSD makes moving data between phones much faster - just put the card in and it's done. Now imagine copying 200+GB of data via USB cable. That would take hours to complete.
2)Wireless headphones have latency issues that make them a poor choice for gaming. And even if this issue gets resolved, keeping my headphones charged and getting new headphones every two years due to battery degradation is bad. So, I still use wired headphones, which work just fine. If it ain't broke, why fix it?
3)I can't see a big difference between FHD+ and WQHD+. However, I know that some people do and Samsung shouldn't have settled for FHD+ especially for the €1050 S21+.
4)When even mid-range phones have 50+W charging (realme 7 Pro for example), there's no excuse for these flagships only having 25W charging support, not to mention you have to get the charger separately, which mid-range phones come with.
5)Well, it's inconsequential for now, but in the long run, plastic backs get scratched (yes, even in a case) and drop the resale value of the device.
The option wording is dump.
Looks better , seems like we are taking about the design. So I would choose the option. Though the reason I'm not getting is that the S20 has better specs
Not for me, sounds like what would fit after looks better, but I bet it could mean I don't buy samsung or this model.
So whoever did this poll. The result is definitely not what you think with the last two options
I will never buy galaxy with exynos (the only way in EU), it's a scandal to mount there such a worse cpu and want the same $

who told you microsd makes your phone slow ? in what regards that is?
and 3.5mm is ancient port? you mean the superior audiophile port right?
I've already pre ordered the S21+
Upgrading from a OP7PRO 5G which in handing back to EE once this arrives and I'm excited to upgrade.
The main thing for me is going back to a flat screen.
I honestly can't tell any major fidelity difference between my OP7PRO and my backup Honor 9X Pro in terms of resolution so being able to be rid of the curves and the rubbish that comes with it is worth it to me.
The only reason I went for the + is because all of my phone's are around 6.6" so going smaller, while cheaper, isn't what I want.
tokyojerry, 17 Jan 2021The latest Exynos 2100 is rumored to be superior to Qualcomm.
https://www.techspot.com/news... morethere is no superiority once you use exynos you know it sucks.
now claiming it would be different in next gen we have to see. trump also claimed a lot of stuff happening and it didn't. so claim is a claim, facts about previous exynos gens are facts.
Can anyone tell me what's wrong with the S21 series by :
1. Not having MicroSD (it will make phones slower)
2. Not having 3,5 mm headphone jack (ancient port)
3. Screen only FHD+ (Higher res only drains battery)
4. Slow charging (Apple and Pixels is worse)
5. Plastic back (when you use an case)
I'm disappointed by the S21 series, the S21(+) is pretty much DOA by now cheaper and better S20(+), and although the S21 Ultra has a great camera system, there isn't any other reason to get it, especially now that it lacks a lot of "legacy" features like the microSD slot. After all, these are smart*phones*, not smart cameras.
I can't use a phone without a microSD slot and a headphone jack, so I'll wait for Sony and LG's flagships and see if they drop those features too. If they go feature-less as well, then I'll just get a mid-range device that has these features at a fraction of the cost.
no card slot . no 3.5mm jack. who are they making these phones for?
they want to take the market to where they like.
why should i keep my data on the cloud while i can simply keep it in my pocket on microsd?
BIGGEST NO ever to samsung. i liked them among some others but that's enough.
and hell no i would never ever buy an exynos phone again.
Don't need a jack, charger in the box (as I have several of them everywhere), glass back or super-zoom cameras... But I'll pass. I'd rather see S21 with smaller screen as it was on S10e. And with low weight, that's the biggest issue. Phones weighing over 200 grams? So obsolete...
tokyojerry, 17 Jan 2021The latest Exynos 2100 is rumored to be superior to Qualcomm. https://www.techspot.com/news... moreApparently it's better only for about 20 minutes, then after that thermal controls hit in and it becomes a trainwreck.

8 bit means 16 million colours kid.
10 bit means 1. 07 Billion colours
12 Bit means 68 Trillon colours
8 bit is normal, just like 60hz. Once you've experienced 10 bit or above, you will immediately notice the difference in colours.

Dope!!! But it's just an overpriced mere smartphone that I wouldn't need all these costive components on it everyday..... Bull...
