The only threat to tech development today is this political witchunt targeting chinese companies. If truly there is a relationship between Xiaomi, huawei and the chinese military, the USA would have spelt it out. Lets remember that its the US companies that moved their production to china consequently creating wealth, transferring the skills and spearheading China's tech growth. Now if any chinese company rises and overtakes apple then its blacklisted. Surely, what nonesense is this????

Their black and white list is getting annoying, we want stable market, not one that changes every year.

Kinda suprising trump added them to the banlist when they barely got any marketshare in the US.

Their court case is literally about how they are removing illegal content and Amazon didn't care that they did abd banned them anyways. Twitter has allowed open calls to violence for years with no restrictions for many. There are literally tens of thousands of cakes to violence on Twitter right now. All year, they were allowing rioters in the US to come together on Twitter which resulted in over 2 billion in damages to property and over 30 murdered by BLM riots. Harris raised money for rioters all summer and called for violence much more directly than DT and she's was praised for it.

Apple sales drop and blame others that they are spies to save their ass.
Facebook, a few months ago, sold our data and the owner apologized but because it's about an American company, it was totally OK to keep going.
Apple is strong, think capitalism. They control the judges and senates.

Pretty sure Xiaomi doesn't have any tie to Chinese Military yet but I'm pretty sure CCP is just watching around the corner. If Xiaomi's CEO make a mistake he can face the same fate as Jack Ma.
