conditae, 23 Jan 2021I get the feeling how I'm gonna get tired of saying this, GUYS, it's the 21st (centu... more(Had to add, I'm also seeing American -pickup- trucks, some French cars and other vehicles, too, having just the regular USB - even white-f.-colored plugs, so - it's like USB 1.1 having, you know (?!), some funny amps output - and often times no Type-C: it's crazy how manucturers are tripping about this, just ridiculous.)

I get the feeling how I'm gonna get tired of saying this, GUYS, it's the 21st (century!), my Sony Ericsson from a bazillion years ago - the K800i - had a 3.2-megapixel camera: 2 MP sensors are *obsolete* from ~15 years ago and so is USB 2.0, please just stop it, LOL. :/

Setup tips:Either install New pipe/Vanced for alternative.
It kills apps in background,so turn battery management from 'automatic' to 'manual' for Spotify/Vanced.
Install Dark themes since emui9 doesn't have a official dark mode
Use 3 party file manager with cloud support+FTP server(Nearby share alternative)
since,Gdrive mobile web version doesn't support upload if you will use google drive.
I use Mixplorer,(since it additionally supports epub,pdf book format, split apk installer)

Will international version get Android 10 or will be upgraded to harmony is?
I always had a desire to have honor 9x pro for a long time. But with the phone having such limited availability and reviews I kinda stepped back. Fortunately I was going through the opinion/ comment section of this phone in gsmarena where I got very useful information and rekindled my desire to buy this phone. Thank you.

You can install Google services on this model. Very stable software after one year. I like it more than Galaxy Note 9 snapdragon variant which I used for 3 month.

Camera: night mode is better than competitors.Portrait is good,rest are average,4k video is missing.
Speaker is low(though I compared it with my prev phone with Dolby atmos)
For games, you might face in-app purchase issue with games linked to gmail.
Chinese is at emui 10 ,I am currently at 9.1 November patch.

I heard the phones comes with 10 watt charging... so is it pain stakingly slow to charge? How is the camera?
I am thinking to have te 9xpro mainly for gaming... I can do without Google maps, all other alternatives are available from Microsoft. I am thinking of using apkpure in tandem with Huawei app gallery should have all the app execpt for those Google made apps. I found some good posts here in gsmarena related to 9xpro which cleared me a lot of doubts.
I also read the international version of 9x pro runs Android 9 where as China version is in Android 10. Is it true?

And spec wise the 9xpro seems like a king with Kirin810. I am tempted because of this and for the price.
