You cannot advice Apple to improve their products if you are not the owner/CEO/majority stakeholder of Apple.
Buy Android phones instead!

Wily2021, 16 Jan 2021That was funny because no-one have perfected underscreen fps, since the first version it still... moreI have the Samsung Galaxy A71 (underscreen fps) as well as a LG G7 ThinQ (fps at the back), and the unlocking speed is comparable. The physical one on the iPhone SE is the slowest one in my experience between the A71 and the SE. The accuracy is similar. I scanned my fp twice, one time without and one time with my screenprotector, and 90-95% of the time, the scanning is succesful. The scanners improved a lot in the last years
Lol, and in apple world they call it news.

Dot projector needs to detect entire face and it cannot do so with mask covering half of it. You could make it work, at expense of accuracy. You don't need to be an expert to understand that. No data points coz they are covered by mask means you're making it less demanding for accuracy.

It can/should work, but currently it doesn't, which is why I said that that person's criticism was legitimate. The current Face ID is flawed and should be improved.

If it's so easily done, why no one else has done even half of how good FaceID is? The closest anyone has gotten was Huawei which is irrelevant at the moment due to US nonsense and Google which killed it like 3/4 of everything they make.

Apple's Face ID is flawed. If you consider yourself an Apple fan, you should criticize Apple, so Apple will improve it. I don't see how you or anyone will benefit from defending a flawed technology. It's asinine. Don't you want Apple to improve its products?

I d... moreThen you don't know a damn thing if you so confidently state that it "should" work. Apparently an Anonymous nobody knows more about biometrics than Apple engineers doing it for years. Sure pal and magic pixies are real. Removing half of the biometric data because it's obstructed by mask is a security risk that Apple is not willing to take even if users were. But by your logic, half of the fingerprint should also unlock the phone... Or just 2 numbers out of 4 with a PIN. If you don't get it how dumb that logic is you're a helpless case. Which you already are reading your nonsense daily...

Of course fingerprint is the ultimate security feature. But don't cry over your mis-usage and blame a company for giving you options..

Face ID should work even when you wear a mask. I don't know why you defend a flawed technology. You can be an Apple fan and criticize Apple products. Many fans criticize products they like. Criticisms are crucial for improvements.
Anonymous, 17 Jan 2021So anyone who criticizes Apple is a hater? No, just you, constantly finding dumbest and lamest excuses to relentlessly bash Apple in every single article there is on GSM Arena. One thing is constructive criticism, another is your childish whining.
Anonymous, 17 Jan 2021So anyone who criticizes Apple is a hater?Criticizing about something is completely different than what these known anonymous trolls are doing who are in every Apple article. They try to hide under anonymous, but they wrote too much so they made themself known. That’s what salty Apple obsession does.
If you haven’t noticed that people who are Android users and who have been actually using iPhone before, talks very differently about iPhone even when they think Android is better. That’s ok. Not everyone likes same, but trolling in every Apple article about device which you have never owned is just sad and shows how envy and bitter they are.
I think they just doesn’t want to accept that smartphones aren’t made for them anymore and what they think is important and kept raving about companies are actually removing those features or just making them worse. S21 line is perfect example about this, it was huge slap against Sammy boys face and what they stand for.
YUKI93, 16 Jan 2021And yet there are some "genius" here on this site saying that audio jack is long out... moreWireless is definetly more expensive and has less audio quality than high-end wired earphones, but these days I think most people are gonna be happy with the audio quality of wireless earphones.
It's why the homepod didn't sell well: It's audio was amazing, but people just don't care for that compared to alexa or google assistant.
anon, 17 Jan 2021when apple will add under screen finger print. they will claim it as if they invented the thing.Apple like Apple, but wait for their fanboys to arrive at the scene (yes I am talking about you willy the wonder kid, lol).
But then again, iphones have always been doing this. Take an already existing feature and implementing it to their devices. The bigger problem is that they are asking double the price, just because it is Apple.
Just look at the iphone SE. A 200EUR phone in a 400EUR package. Lol.

I know you're brainwashed into selling the display eyesore that is the notch. It's a broken half truth that has nothing to do with reality.
[deleted post]Sure, you can make it work with 1cm2 of visible face. But at what accuracy? You're just spiting nonsense at Apple features just because you're a rabid Apple hater.
AnonD-977427, 17 Jan 2021LMFAO...so it’s super clear that you’ve never experienced the conveniences of FaceID since you... more” I had the S9+ and the iris scanner was next to useless. For it to work you had to align your eyes to the markers on the screen. It was extremely slow and cumbersome. It was nowhere near in the same league as FaceID”
Exactly, everyone knows this. There was lot of vs videos in youtube when Face ID came to show how superior Face ID is.
