For me, the S9/S9+ produced the best photo quality out of all Galaxy S models. Samsung got it so right, including the dual aperture system. I definitely would love to see Samsung bringing it back again as it provides the best of both world flexibility - larger aperture for low light conditions, smaller aperture for crisp and natural bokeh.

I use S2, S4, S6 edge & S10. (Galaxy series)
I like S2 as very slim size & removable battery;
S4 is disaster model, usually restart & sometimes can't power on at 2nd year, need to upgrade;
S6 is good, but can't use over 4 years, need to upgrade to S10 (S10 is good, use now)
I use Samsung since 2003, they always make mistake (launch rubbish model every few years).
S21 is bulky, downgrade resolution (2K -> 1K), urgy lens design, my old flagship toy (S6 edge is 2K model at 2015). if next generation model is garbage again, I may change..
In fact iphone 12 mini is slim size, (even the spec & camera is not the best, compare with S21 or 12 Pro), Samsung never design this size phone, maybe they are busy (their boss are in...)

Samsung throw the term "Pro grade camera" around a lot. Even their midrange A series has it and those cameras are bad. They should bring back dual aperture, with new big sensors, they would be unbeatable.

Their best trick was on the S9. After that, it has been just marketing tricks to sell more camera sensors as something good on a device.

Seeing all Samsung flagships in one piece I realized why I never bought one.. They all look very boring in design.

There is nothing left of history except camera...memory card gone, 3.5 mm jack gone for sound quality, full screen gone with horrible notchs, memory extension gone....only left is bunch of cameras and antenna with heating overclocked processors...
next year they may come up with history of how screen became bigger with lot of holes and how camera vanished...
