The first 5nm MediaTek chipset could arrive in 2022, will be called Dimensity 2000 Comments
By 2022, we're going to start seeing 3nm SoCs competitors. Even though MediaTek has been doing great in the last 2 years. They got to speed up the process when it comes to flagships SoC if they really want to compete in that segment.

C'mon mediatek, 5nm in 2022?
In order to bolster you flagship lineup(because the dimensity 1000 still lags behind the snapdragon 865) you really need to push for better top-of-the-line chipsets.
