DMX, I guess they won't have IP rating due to the cooling system. Personally, I have the ROG 2 and so far I do not see any issue without having IP rating. In fact, I do not know of anyone who will buy or not buy a phone just because of IP rating. I mean, none of the people I know uses his phone in the rain without some sort of protection. Remember, even with IP rating, no company will honour their warranty if it is water damaged.

Glad to see they still keep the top and bottom bezels for the stereo front facing speakers. I would prefer beefy cooling inside rather than gimmicky back screen like that.
