Lyndino, 20 Jan 2021They don't need to be replaced if regular charging is happening.Definitely not if you're planning to throw away your phone after 3 years of use.

Lyndino, 20 Jan 2021They don't need to be replaced if regular charging is happening.Batteries degrade with the time. At some point if you want a longer SoT you'll need to replace the battery. I do it in my phones and i also take this thing into the account before purchase a phone so another reason to not buy these S21 series fiasco.

Lyndino, 20 Jan 2021They don't need to be replaced if regular charging is happening. What if the person wants to keep phone for 4 or 5 years?
By then, battery will be less than 3000 mAh already.

      I bought my phone in Q2 2016.
      Still using it ...

"...the battery does not come with pull tabs."

Yikes, this must be a handful to repair and to replace.

Lyndino, 20 Jan 2021Oh no, whatever are we to do with a device that doesn't have issues aside from human neglect.Humans are far from perfect. If this is made for humans, it should be repairable. Batteries especially because they degrade naturally.
