It's so ironic, how due to lack of fresh ideas Google keeps repeating the chain of: bringing a feature- breaking the same- removing it entirely- introduce it back with new names - it's hilarious. The split screen activation method on Nougat was perfect, just press and hold the Recents button and there you go. But they had to remove it. So that they can bring it back. And Google shills be like wow wew etc.
Same goes for copying recent apps layout. The vertical view was more comfortable and convenient, but they had to copy iOS style and being stupid horizontal view. When you don't have any idea of your own, or simply run out of them, you do all these, to buy time.

NY Yankee , 22 Jan 2021As usual stock Android playing catchup. This feature already exists on other Android skins. Yeah maybe tell other manufacturers to develop their own OS and see how fun it is to maintain and keep it bugs free while trying to implement 100 other features.

HoldEm, 22 Jan 2021The Galaxy gimmicky feature that others were calling. Love this feature.I recently found this feature on my Note 9 and it works amazing when needed.
I wasn't sure it would run 2 apps at the same time while waiting in an online que and playing a simple game. Yep. Worked flawlessly. Kudos Samsung.

At least on MIUI you can disable the access to the network for each individual apps.

Redbull, 21 Jan 2021I just hope Restricted Networking Mode allows us to select apps to restrict. It doesn't sound like it, unfortunately. That said, the feature isn't ready so things can change.
