Is it safe to assume that OnePlus will now start selling budget phones capitalizing on the Oxygen OS instead of the 'Never Settle' slogan they coined.

AnonD-889996, 22 Jan 2021Should be with Vivo too.Vivo is separate from Oppo though with separate R&D and manufacturing facilities so it's unlikely to merge R&D with Oppo. Oneplus was always basically a spin off brand of Oppo and is an Oppo subsidiary which has always used Oppo Hardware and manufacturing facilities.

I prefer Vivo's design over the Oneplus or Oppo.

OnePlus is what it is because of its software.

it comes to no suprise, One plus have been moving towards and emulating the business model from Oppo and Vivo for the past 2 years.

Makes sense. They are so closely related anyway with software being the main difference between their phones
