This is going to be interesting. For the record, as a US citizen, I defend Australia for the simple reason of "don't give me the BS that Google can't afford this". Their ad revenue can support a third-world country if they wanted to.

Crackling Doom, 22 Jan 2021This will definitely start a new trend. But which other countries, if any, will follow suit? In India, the payment for advertisement to all digital media giants like Facebook, etc is taxable at 6%.
But anyhow, these giants like Google, Facebook, Twitter have started to threaten and blackmailing everyone. They are obviously abusing their powers. They need to be shown that they can decline very fast. And most probably, they are trying very hard to stop new entrants in their market.
