It seems everybody disregards this phone. However, how many Chinese competitors do you know that they have PASSED the MIL (military grade) test of the US Deparment of Defence? These MIL standards are not a joke! The LG K42 is tested for durability as per international standards! Not even Apple has managed to do that! Go for it! This phone will last, will never let you down, that’s why they LG gives you 2 year guarantee! Do you know anyone else who’s doing this?

I have one of the K2 LG phone and I love it it's not ugily the screen is an impressive size the battery is fantastic I can't fault the phone it might not be for everyone but it definitely gives Samsung phone a run for their money that's for sure to know you don't need to spend alot of money on a phone to get a really good smart

They sacrificed the specs for build quality and in that case, LG K42 isn't for everyone. It's for those who chose build over specs.

For 10k you'll get a better processor and 4GB ram. Why would anyone settle for 3GB? LGs military grade certificate is worthless. As a person who purchased the G7 and v20 I know what a waste that certificate is!

In India a price sensitive market more than 25% people purchase budget 10K 35% people purchase budget around 12 to 18K indian rupees. In this price range there are plenty of Chinese or Indian mobile phone companies offering good processor like MTK p70 G70 G80 G85 G90t SD730 SD730G SD720. LG should know low price market value and introduce some nice specifications phones like Samsung do with M-series mobile phones

A42 is in a price range where you get something way better and as A42 is same tablet like the rest of the market it has nothing in it that makes me want to spend on it over what ever china brand. A40 selling point was it's size. A41 had the screen bigger but still was in a good size and it specs were a bit better too. Now A42 is just like the rest of the model lines with just big tablet and you have like 100 plus different models to compete with

Samsung don't put the same software processing in mid-rangers than more expensive ones. Also that phone A42 is more tall that what you say: 164.4 mm.
