Xperia Compacts always were flagship models and was really good looking phones, L series is joke! that is not flagship compact and no one will buy it, I will wait for 1 II or 5 II Compact.
P.S. that frond camera design is ridiculous and very cheap looking. GREAT ! My old Xperia ZL look much better and has almost the same screen2body ratio. This is very bad for us :(

Another useless phone from Sony, as usual. Probably it will cost 300EUR+, lol.
Incoming Sony fanboys to explain to us how an IP rating and oled screen are state of the art things and only because of this things the phone deserve a steep price tag. Lol.
Sony phones are so great and cheap, lol. That's why they have less than 1% market share.
Well, LG got the kick. Next HTC, Nokia and Sony. And is only their fault if this end up happening. They had so much power, influence and money and they didn't know what to do with them. When you fail time and time again, people will just move on and go to the competitors.

Anything above 150$ with 4gb RAM and above is perfectly smooth for day to day tasks.
Secondly, this isn't the old Snapdragon 460 based on cortex A73 architecture.
This one is based on cortex A76 architecture, so performance should be equivalent of a Snapdragon 6xx series or lower end 7xx series.

Might not be a budget phone. The render includes a dedicated camera button, which is normally not present on L-series. Looks more like a Xperia 10 III Compact, which would be pretty fine with OK SOC. If they include Sony sensors on the Wide and U-wide cameras it could be a nice phone. 5,5" OLED is super and still compact. Don't like the notch - would prefer some slim bezels like Xperia 1/5. Make in red, yellow, black and light grey.
