Chinese had banned around 140 American apps and websites including Facebook, YouTube and Twitter several years back. Now they complain of US ban. Serves them right.

The real losers are consumers. Like it or not, Huawei pushed other companies (Samsung and Apple) to not sit back and give us incremental upgrades. They're a big reason why cell phone cameras have progressed so far in such a short time.
Don't forget Samsung is a Korean company and Apple is more global than just American.
And as far as China government spying claims. If true, than how is it different than what tech companies are already doing?

China makes first vaccine and then tried to donate it to other Asean countries based on condition to unconditional support in UN over this pandemic. Apparently everyone rejects this proposal and preferrs Indian manufactured vaccine. Such a huge embarrassment for so called superpower. Meanwhile there is pakistan who is asking for chinese vaccine that too for free. nothing is going well for china.

It seems the US regime has succeeded in crushing Huawei in favour of their own tech companies. It seems the rest of the western world need to bring a world financial system that is not dominated controlled and manipulated by the Americans to impose sanctions on other nations businesses.

Nobody believes this Honor independent from Huawei smokescreen.
But if it allows Honor/Huawei to circumvent the silly US trade restrictions, then great.
We need more choices in the market and cutting out Huawei from most of the non-Chinese markets was a lousy move for consumers.
