AnonD-804996, 26 Jan 2021Plastic is ALWAYS bad when a phone has a 800+ € price tag...Well not for me. In fact, I always prefer plastic back over glass back. The advantage of having a glass back is gone when you put a phone case anyway, so that becomes totally irrelevant.

Originally I thought if for example you had 256GB of UFS storage and used this feature, it will actually have two 256GB UFS chips to do the job, no 2 partitions in the same chip. Well this method is more expensive!

Seamless updates takes up a ton of space for the two partitions and I would rather have the free storage and not use my phone for like the 5 minutes a month while it updates than the other way around.

So please keep your cheap materials for cheap phones, thank you.

AnonD-804996, 26 Jan 2021Plastic is ALWAYS bad when a phone has a 800+ € price tag...At least that price will go down rapidly unlike the iphones. That 800eur will be 500eur in 6-12 months.
Iphones tend to remain the same high price even after couple of years. I recently bought an iphone XS with 500EUR, second hand with 89% battery life. Even though I still own an Android phone in parallel. I bought it, just because I hate the bloatware on Android phones (Samsung, Xiaomi being the worst). On this regard One Plus and Pixel phones are the best.
But the limitations of IOS are still very bad. Everything done in the name of profit. Lol.
I need to do a lot of work around just to have the simple life of Android phones. But, I do admit, the built quality (not the design) is better than Android phones.
P.S. Is not my first iphone, is my third. Still think they are sh*tty phones all around. Lol. But, I am a sh*tty person too, so is normal.

Either use pre-baked Android or develop your own thing from ground up. Apple is already doing their own thing from the beginning. Samsung has gone through Android, BadaOS and Tizen. And still remained with Android.

I'm definitely in the minority here, but after android 5 lollipop, the updates are pretty overrated, some phones get worse with updates and most of the core android apps can function regardless of versions and Google even too their stock apps to update over the play store rather than be tied to versions.

why bother implementing new convenient features when your cult buy your stuff regardless. famous last word by fallen companies.
I don't like apple myself but there's no denying that they never sit still and turn complacent no matter how on top they are. just look at m1.

Shady practice and on top of that they lock your bootloader. So that you solely depend on them for latest Android updates & control your next purchase when you could upgrade to the latest Android versions on Custom ROMS.
