The cell radio pu... moreonkyo (asian onkyo audiophile grade player phone hybrid) dp-cmx1 is the nearest equivalent, but their lack of experience in phone delevopment was an issue in delivering a smooth android experience, nevertheless the audio experience is simply the best for this hybrid device
but it with Oppo experience, we could see a game changer for high resolution audio experience with top end android experience, maybe in a few years times, Sony will release a true walkman phone will similar high end experience

Beating CD quality is totally possible. Some phones still support 1 TB storage cards, a headphone jack, and good DACs.

Would love to see... morethere are decents ones at this moment, Astell and Kern has a few, Sony has their NW-ZX507 high resolution audio player, does not just have decent DAC, also clean power supply via ft capicators, shielded internal components, balanced output via 4.4mm for high impedence headphones and regular 3.5mm unbalanced, basically makes Zune, ipods and literally phones sound like tinny casettle players
