could they be making audiophile high resolution audio players based on android platform or even better phones audiophile high resolution audio player hybrids, that could be rather awesome, imagine a proper and decent onkyo dp-cmx1 with both 3.5mm unbalanced and 4.4mm balanced output as well as supporting the high resolution wireless codecs, bluetooth 5.1, ldac and aptx hd.

Geralb, 26 Jan 2021Yea i hope so because FiiO and other players in this game are getting real comfortable!Oppo used to make high end audio before completely switching over to making smartphones. Carl Pei used to work at Oppo so making high end audio is returning to his roots. UK is producing some good stuff at the moment i.e. Chord, iFi, RHA, Cambridge Audio etc. so he should fit right in.
