Wow, this was actually pretty sweet. Makes sense the "break off" between screen and keys - on the otherwise very weird lumia design. Lumi for bar phones is not nice, this looked good though.
Hope they will make something similar for WP8. After all, they havent forgotten all about their business users have they? Not to mention those who don't love the on-scren keyboard as much as the HW one, like me.
Meego is dead, long live Meego. Now I wish they would re-use this design for a Lumia Pro device.
NOKIA really had a chance to stay at the top. But then some decisions came up... Now she`s hardly climbing from the gates of the bottom.
WOW...i would have definitely bought that phone...really beautiful one and MeeGo is one hell of an OS...i really hope some company releases it
The design could pass as a windows surface phone.looks like the surface tablet and the colorfull keyboard.
I wish that phone was around when I upgraded from N900 few months ago.. I went for iPhone, but if I had a choice back then, I'd go for that beauty. Design of N9, hardware keyboard and MeeGo on board - I couldn't ask for more.. I hope guys at Nokia and MS know what they're doing, and that it will all end well for them.
I see this and I immediately miss my E7. Great phone, great UI and awesome design. Meego is just a great OS, period. Regularly updated, not as chaotic and cluttered as Android, and not as stiff and unfriendly as iOS, and one still has the freedom to do just about anything (no jailbreaking or anything required). Man, being a Nokia fan all my life, and then seeing this, brings a tear to my eye...
Stewart, 05 Sep 2012arrrggghhhhhh!!!! Its exactly what I need/want in my smart business phone!!! qwerty with a to... moreThen get an E7 and have most of the Microsoft-related good cloud stuff without actually having to use the WP OS.
Guys, if you like Meego OS, go for Jolla. They will announce their first phone this year which could run on Meego OS, or Jolla OS(maybe they will name Meego like this).
Guys chill out! Nokia will be selling this, just that it will have windows on top. but the HW itself won't go anywhere. did you notice how much lumia 800 and n9 look alike????
AnonD-24213, 05 Sep 2012I hate you now, Nokia. THAT´s the device i have wanted for long time. It's time for me t... moreyes!! well yes with the handset.. dont care about OS really.. But guess we are a small market share? Still would have obtained this if it had been released...
arrrggghhhhhh!!!! Its exactly what I need/want in my smart business phone!!! qwerty with a touch screen!!
touch screen keyboards take too much of the screen...
