i love only one thing about Pixels: easy to root.
But the phones are so unconvincing. 4 had terrible battery, 5 has unusable CPU taking you couple of generations back in performance. Fingerprint in the back? Nevermore. How about FaceID the only legit face unlock method that works with apps.. Oh yeah, cancelled.

Google: We're going to create a new Pixel, why? We're going to copy a previous one and resize it and name it with a new label. Now we have a new pixel! I don't know if the Mountain View design team drinks too much of the juice from the nearby Napa Valley or what, but it should reconsider staying in the market. The Google Pixels were exceptional. Now it's just a bad new season of a TV series that shatters the good reputation of the first season. Hey Google! How is the weather today? Sorry, I wanted to ask you... It's insane how difficult it i... moreMaybe thiers a reason for this - its so so hard to use a small phone for me i end up doing everything slowere and anyway this can definately be used with one hand for most people and anyway look at what happened to the iphone mini - it shows that small phones are less popular the only reason why the iphone se sold well was it was a cheap iphone not becuase it was small

I see, so will there be any reason to get this over Pixel 5, 4 or 4a (all of which have been greatly discounted)? The same design, the same display, probably the same camera.. It just doesn't feel like Google is trying to impress their existing and potential customers anymore.

Oh yes, just what the market needs, another big ass phone. It's insane how difficult it is to find decent small compact phones these days. I wonder what would happen if manufacturers started producing one size fits all clothing or shoes. All pants have a 40" waist and all shoes are men's size 14. Would the masses be OK with this? Would they say you'll get used to it with time?
