screw them.. i hate Dash Warp and VOOC. least compatible technology. can't find their chargers anywhere, even USB testers won't work with it. Have to charge my Oneplus at 8W. Stop VOOC/Dash/Warp! QC or PD. PD is the future.

These manufacturers are so lame and stupid, proprietary fast charger tech is not going to help universal solution but rather leads to fragmentation. Looks as though we need laws for else birdbrain tinheaded company decision makers won't stop.
Its time to stop being silly and support USB C Power delivery (PD). So that we have a common charger and cable that can be used to fast charge all devices: mobiles, laptops, accesories etc and this would help in doing away providing the 2 in box.
Where are the green activist's,,, sleeping. Plse wake up these stupid manufacturers, wake up oppo.

IpsDisplay, 23 Feb 2021About time they are objectively leaders in charging technologies Both in speed and safety, ... moreChinese are leading the way as far as fast charging is concerned.
VOOC is at the top of the list.
Can't believe some companies still roll out flagships with 18W-25W fast charging in 2021.

This is step one for Oppo to remove the charger in the box.. If they don't provide the VOOC chargers in the box anymore others like Anker have to fill the gap.

[deleted post]Tech Decoupling is important,

Europe has started to build indigenous tech to which EU dedicated $145 Billion, and PRC has allocated $300 Billion to do the same.

Let's see how things go by the next decade.

Why does proprietary charging still exist?
Can't everyone just use a unified standard like usb power delivery or quick charge 4?

Way to go Oppo, one of the best (chinese) OEM's second only to Huawei imo.
Anker already has quite a few GaN chargers and I remember that even the Asus PA SB1 had a beefy/powerful 200+W GaN brick but the size of a Apple's 100W brick.
