KON TOL, 25 Feb 2021of course, its just for bragging "hey i have 108mp camera on my phone and yours still hav... moreExactly. The depth sensors and macros must be incredibly cheap I guess
YUKI93, 25 Feb 2021A moment of silence for anyone who just bought a Realme 7 phone.Or even x7 series or narzo 30 series...realme kills realme
Price will be make or break the sales
Without OIS and a proper software, it will be useless, the sensor is not the only part of taking a good photo
what time useless and waste.....put 50MP Samsung GN2 Sensor instead of this
React 2 Gadgets YT, 25 Feb 2021But it was a bit surprising though. Considering the 108 MP HM2 has smaller 0.7 micron compared... moreThat review was just around 5 photos. There are plenty of more indepth reviews (although most aren't in English) where they look through a larger number of photos and crop in on them and it seems to perform worse than the Redmi k30 ultra for example. I tried one a bit and the shutter speed is very slow in binned mode so you get a lot of blurry pics. Tough to fully know though without owning one and trying it long term I guess. It's definitely far weaker than the hmx sensor though
Titodz, 25 Feb 2021This will be a great year for midrangersi dont think so, because most of these companies dont even add ois at least on 64mp sensors and 108mp sensors, yeah its an okay marketing technique, but it just doesnt make any sense whatsoever to not add ois to these high megapixel sensors, and maybe if they can, they can make an amoled with 120hz, at least if it isnt flagship grade, i dont think this is the year for midrangers if they dont add the most important features such as ois on the main, a (cheap but at least) amoled 120hz screen.
Lets hope the pro version
will have a telephoto lens not like the 7 pro
Idk why they removed it because the 6 pro had one
React 2 Gadgets YT, 25 Feb 2021If it has OIS, at least 0.8 micron pixels, aperture of F 1.8, then i am fine. But omit either ... moreFor Google it's still imx363😂

Sony imx766 saw on Oppo Reno 5pro+
I'm waiting for RealMe CARGO series or may be HANZO series or may be BAMBO series.
Why not, Realme brings each day another worthless craps, may be they want to do it also.
Is Realme running like a 6 month cycle insted of 1 year cycle everyone else is doing? Feels like Realme 7 was launched like 2 months ago...
Seems like there have nothing left on these tablets to advertise then only the camera as all the rest are just features.
Aierlan, 25 Feb 2021Guessing it'll be the Hm2 seen on the Redmi note 9 pro5g/Xiaomi mi10i. So far the sensor ... moreBut it was a bit surprising though. Considering the 108 MP HM2 has smaller 0.7 micron compared to 0.8 micron on the 64 MP samsung GW1 sensor, it takes better lowlight photos in auto node. But probably that's because HM2 uses Nona Binning ,which means 2.1 micron pixels even though the individual pixels are smaller at 0.7 microns compared to 0.8. For further proof, just check out Technick's camera comparison of Mate 40 Pro, Note 20 Ultra, Iphone 12 Pro Max, Poco M3, Poco X3, Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. The HM2 on Redmi Note 9 Pro takes better photos in lowlight than the Poco X3 despite the smaller pixel size
Aierlan, 25 Feb 2021Guessing it'll be the Hm2 seen on the Redmi note 9 pro5g/Xiaomi mi10i. So far the sensor ... moreof course, its just for bragging "hey i have 108mp camera on my phone and yours still have 12,48,64 mp". and by the leak i can see another shit 2 macro and depth again. why can they replace for just telephoto camera instead of 2 useless cam.
If it has OIS, at least 0.8 micron pixels, aperture of F 1.8, then i am fine. But omit either of those, and the lowlight quality will be bad without night mode. I think that the best sensor for smartphone currently is the Samsung GN1, GN2, HM3 and Sony IMX 689
Guessing it'll be the Hm2 seen on the Redmi note 9 pro5g/Xiaomi mi10i. So far the sensor doesn't seem to be offering any improvement on imx686 or even imx586 sensors.
