To us that an app is needed which adds a different story).
Force OEMs to reduce unnecessary Bloatware not useful one's ( like there own stores of china versions, fb crappie, etc) don't force them to change look for the sack of unseen benefits (mostly a scarp experience). 😅
OEM themes had communities which will go nuts if they switch a small code line in firmware.
Yep, 27 Feb 2021How many Vivo phones you own or going to buy, why every OEM should make a stock Android skin d... moreSkins affects performance. I have seen difference between One Plus and Samsung on same snapdragon 835/845/855. Samsung skins were shit and they are even shittier now.
Shame, I was looking forward to the Exynos 1080. The built in modem makes a big difference in efficiency.
All of these chips are blazing fast and good for 3+ years of use.
The Android Freak, 26 Feb 2021It's good that Vivo is launching this with snapdragon 870 but Origin OS won't come w... moreHow many Vivo phones you own or going to buy, why every OEM should make a stock Android skin don't you want the one we like custom designs have an OEM to have fun. Asus was ruined by your (so called stock lovers) insanity now making another go down that shit stock path.🤬
The Android Freak, 26 Feb 2021Really? Yes! Check out some reviews of Vivo Y70 and Y20S, and it's basically stock Android! GSM Arena has done a review of the Vivo V20, check it out! :)
The Android Freak, 26 Feb 2021One Plus is not owned by Oppo. One Plus, Realme, Oppo, Vivo are owned by BBK. It is owned by Oppo as is Realme. Oppo in turn is owned by BBK which mainly functions as a holding company
Gary paul, 26 Feb 2021yeah i would pick sd870. sd 888 has serious heating issues and there's no.fix for that. ... moreSD888 is much better than SD870, for a first few minutes. Then both has same performance, except SD870 has no grip heater feature.
Anonymous, 26 Feb 2021870 is much better, like one year ahead, no doubts.yeah i would pick sd870. sd 888 has serious heating issues and there's no.fix for that. thats a reason Qualcomm is coming up with sd 870 and 875, as a cover up for sd888.
Vivo are now based in the UK and I am hopeful that the Vivo x60 and the x60 pro will be launched in the UK as the first flagship smartphone. I'm interested and maybe others who are reading my words within the UK will be interested too. Also Vivo now have a authorised repair centre in the UK.
Greetings all... 👍😀
YUKI93, 26 Feb 2021Well that's a shame, I really want to try out the Exynos 1080 chipset.Me too.
Flagship chipset, flagship camera , flagship design. Affordable price. Interesting. So With Snapdragon 870, you can install GCAM , good one
YUKI93, 26 Feb 2021Well that's a shame, I really want to try out the Exynos 1080 chipset.China exclusive phones of Vivo will get this chipset. Don't know which Samsung phones will use this chipset.

Seems like tsmc node performs better at lower voltage. Unfortunately Snapdragon 855, 865, 765g are the only tsmc manufactured processors in recent time.

Anonymous, 26 Feb 2021Of courseI am hoping SD899 or whatever it is should gain significant a small amount of power and lot of effeciency from TSMC next year.
The Transistor density of TSMC vs Samsung was 170 vs 128 mm².
So Snapdragon a lost a lot of effeciency by going with Samsung.
Coupled together with 4nm 5G modem and TSMC Process gains, The power consumption should be on par with SD865+.
Anonymous, 26 Feb 20211128/3497 is the score for SD888 on 5nm Samsung 1034/3410 is the score for SD870 on 7nm+ on... moreI strongly agree. More and more brands should utilize this snapdragon 870 and make the flagship killers. Espcially Samsung FE or Lite series later this year and Nokia and Asus. I hope Asus utilizes this chipset for their Asus Zenfone 8. It will be beast if Asus uses IMX 686 as well.
