lol... f2.4 on a tiny 8mp (camera phone) sensor. apple is full of it
what about screenresolution ?
see : http://n4bb.com/blackberry-10-screen-resolution-better-iphone-5/
all the pro-apple comments i've seen are limited to all synonymous to "iphone 5 is great because it's apple's new phone!" haven't seen any "wow that's new that's innovative!" or any "hooooly @#!$ no phone have been seen with this features before!" . . . . there's no exciting hype anymore that i can really notice, yep, i think apple's marketing team have been fired to give room for the ever-growing legal team of apple
According to my understanding
f/2.4 means a smaller aperture..Which means that the shutter speed should be slow in order to get more light into the aperture. if shutter speed is slow then even a small shake of the phone would make the picture blurry... So, without image stabilization or larger aperture I cant understand how are we getting better low light performance..
Also if it takes more pictures and use some algorithm to reduce the noise using them, the shutter speed should be high which cant allow much light into the already small aperture which should degrade the low light performance.. I cant understand how we can improve low light performance with small aperture and fast shutter speed and would like to know how?
Anonymous, 13 Sep 2012resolution will still be the same, jst that the height n width will increase.. Simple logic.. ... moreWrong again. What you're talking about (probably) is something else. The sensor on the camera is an 8MP sensor, but it doesn't mean that all pictures coming out of the sensor will be 8MP. Seriously, stop writing gibberish and save your face. The Megapixel count in this case is a count of the total number of pixels in the PANORAMA image, arrived at by multiplying the number of pixels in one vertical and one horizontal plane. Example, 1920x1080 (HD) is a little over 2,000,000 pixels, ergo, 2Megapixels.
Now, a panorama of 28MP would likely be 3264px (vertical) and 8,578px (horizontally). This would be composed of around 5 vertical images stitched together. The resultant image would therefore be 28Mp.
once again the great apple rip off, all that research and development to make a phone 1/2 inch bigger, and a panorama carmera phones have been doing this for years, i for one feel like im gonna be ripping customers off, but if there so gullable to want one then so be it
what wow, 13 Sep 2012i just cant understand how some peopel can be so narrow minded..aka stupids. It takes a few ... moreresolution will still be the same, jst that the height n width will increase.. Simple logic.. If its 28mp u cn zoom in more dn wit d 8mp cam. But in this* case it will only b 8mp n soo will d zoom-in capacity be equal to the normal 8mp picture*.. Easy stuff
Kerosine, 13 Sep 2012Seriously, why do people like you type before thinking...Ever heard of simple addition? An 8 M... moreresolution will still be the same, jst that the height n width will increase.. Simple logic.. If its 28mp u cn zoom in more dn wit d 8mp. But in thid case it will only b 8mp n soo will d zoom-in capacity be equal to the normal 8mp cam.. Easy stuff
So the rumors is true..Apple is happened to sue other company just to cover their failure...
Nothing new wif iphone5 to impress me, just more icrap to offer though..cheap SONY fon will do it for u some more
Hail Galaxy Note II !!! I will embrace you!!!
Rohan, 13 Sep 2012Looks like you dunno a thing about retina display. How many phones have 326ppi density?Hahaha...
Looks like you think your retina display is high and mighty ?
Al android phoens with 720p displays have 330+ densities. Xperia S, SL, T,V, acro, acro hd, Galaxy s3, sii advance, atrix hd, htc one s, one v, one x, lg g, lg 4x, etc.. etc etc etc etc...
probably like 100+ androids.
Anonymous, 13 Sep 2012hw can it take 28mp pictures in panaroma?? When it only has 8mp sensor!!! i just cant understand how some peopel can be so narrow minded..aka stupids.
It takes a few photos and joins them and the edges, where the pictures match, the scenery to be exact.
Anyway there's an android app for that ..actually a few android apps that do that.
Procapture takes super high resolution panoramic photos, by combining 12 pictures in one.
Anonymous, 13 Sep 2012hw can it take 28mp pictures in panaroma?? When it only has 8mp sensor!!! Seriously, why do people like you type before thinking...Ever heard of simple addition? An 8 MP image, added to another 8MP image would make a 16MP image, give or take a few pixels that would be "wasted" in the stitching". So on so forth till you get up to 28MP using the panorama mode. Understood now?
hw can it take 28mp pictures in panaroma?? When it only has 8mp sensor!!!
jbpianist28, 13 Sep 2012the reason why they dont is simple... it would be totally crap in night, not like the lumia 92... moreHave patience! I rather have photos shot with the phone, not with professional a DSLR camera:). With HDR I got pretty good(even great) photos in low light even with the SGS 1(no flash remember).
123321, 13 Sep 2012there are others who can do it: look at the lumia 800, 900 or 920There is a problem. Lumia 900 will not get WP8. What guarantees are there that Lumia 920 will get the next version of WP? iPhone 5 is not just design. It's also about content and continuity. What you bought for 3GS you still can use with iPhone 5. And that's very important for people. Anyway, the main contender of the iPhone is the Galaxy S3. I think the fight will be between those two phones.
