Anonymous, 02 Mar 2021IPhone is notorious for using outdated hardware What matters is the results. Apple i think purposely did that, so previous generation Iphone owners would not be tempting to upgrade, so they can keep their phones longer. And longevity is what Apple want, not keeping you to keep changing phones every 1 or 2 years. There's a positive to that. Even Iphone XS daytime shots can still compete with Iphone 12 because of Smart HDR. Even android phones (Flagships too) these days still struggle to reach Apple's smooth and fluid lens transition, Stabilisation in lowlight, and video dynamic range (since most android phones don't record HDR video). What i mean is Real HDR, not HDR10 or Dolby Vision.
It is different in the Android world (except Google Pixels) , where each new generation of products will always makes you wanting to upgrade instead of staying with your old phone. The jump between each product generation is huge, and because they achieved it through hardware, not all capabilities of new model are given to the old generation products.
I mean, Pixel 2 gets Night sight, Astrophotography, Super Res Zoom, Live HDR through updates, no other company does this, because they achieved it through hardware.
Look at the P20 - P30 - P40, the jump is so huge, and the old phone cannot keep up. So that's what i mean. Each path has its own goods and bads, it depends on how you look at it. I have experienced both, so that's why i can tell you this
"In-sensor Zoom" aka fake zoom that Samsung uses in Galaxy S21 and S21+. Stop lying to costumers and put a proper telephoto lens in the phone.

React 2 Gadgets YT, 02 Mar 2021Lol, even 2018 midrange have 48 MP sensor that is larger than the current gen 12 MP small IphoneIPhone is notorious for using outdated hardware
Anonymous, 02 Mar 2021Even budget devices getting huge sensors while iPhone stuck at sh*tty 1/2.55" sensor Lol, even 2018 midrange have 48 MP sensor that is larger than the current gen 12 MP small Iphone
Si hao, 02 Mar 2021I captured some details from the event The realme 8 pro will have NO telephoto lens 108+13?... more108 Mp is enough to cover 2x zoom lossless. Xiaomi proved it, that their 27 MP can outperform cheap tele lens that are 3 stabilised. Samsung couldn't do it because Samsung's image processing prioritizes noise reduction over detail, so the details gets wiped out, so that's why Samsung's 2x zoom portrait has worse details than even Pixel 5 2x Zoom portraits. That's the matter of processing. Xiaomi is not as bad as Samsung in terms of details and you can install Gcam to furtger enchance zoom shots through Super Res Zoom
uk7866, 02 Mar 2021Wow. Such innovation! 🤣😂Innovation for tech youtubers?? No!!

Anonymous, 02 Mar 2021108MP on a budget phone ! but a bad soc probably108 MP on the 730G Mi note 10 pro was fine. It was just it didn't support 4k60fps,8k30fps, 6k and image processing was slow. But that's fine of you get great results, even Pixel phones has that slow processing speed.

Religious Playboy , 02 Mar 2021Don't need OIS. Huawei Mate 40 Pro clicks great images without OIS. Go Figure... But this would need to be paired with flagship ISP for better results without OIS
Anonymous, 02 Mar 2021who cares about the mate 40 pro with no ois? ois is still needed here because of video, and... moreIt beats phone that has OIS, OIS is not am requirement to get great photos and stable videos. Even Vivo X50 Pro loses to Mi 10 Ultra in stabilization despite having gimbal

ois is still needed here because of video, and no blur while taking a photo.
all these bragging about the 108mp sensor with the sh***y nona binning is nothing when they have
how long are they actually gonna take their time to actually put out a really good camera setup for their budget phones?
instead of bringing out these shitty quad camera setups and shitty quad bayers they should just use a 12mp main sensor and a 8mp ultrawide just like 2017.
Anonymous, 02 Mar 2021108MP on a budget phone ! but a bad soc probablySOC will be the same mostly like Redmi Note 10 Pro/Pro Max but the price difference will be huge.
