meryam, 02 Apr 2021i dont see any reason to buy this when we have redmi note 10 pro max!! only 5g?!aside from the obvious 5G capability which your phone lacks (that alone is a deal breaker, if you have tasted 5G speeds)... what makes me want this mi 11 Lite 5G phone is the fact that it weights only 159grams!!! (compare that to the heavy brick that is your phone)

* Better Screen (the Mi 11 Lite 5G supports 1B colors but with less refresh rate)
* HDR10+ vs HDR10 / 500 nits (typ) vs 450 nits (typ)
* Corning Gorilla Glass 6 vs Corning Gorilla Glass 5
* better selfie camara

And many reviewers (techtabs for example) emphasize on the presence or absence of DC Dimming. I can tell that even RNote 10 pro has 120 hz screen I can feel the pwm. My current Mi 9 lite has very good DC dimming. I suspect there are screens that are not suitable for DC dimming. Thats why K40 which uses the same screen as RN10 pro doesn't have DC dimming.

GSM Arena never includes DC dimmin... moreVery few phones actually have it because it is extremely expensive to implement and on oled screens the lowering of the voltage supplied to the screen can lead to inaccuracy in colours. PWM would be fine if the speed of it was increased to say 450-500hz. A lot of manufacturers will also neglect it because the negative affect on the eyes is not anywhere near as bad on screens with high refresh rates. 60hz amoled users might sufffer but not 120-144hz amoled users. Also, it only affects some people so it's asking for a solution to be implemented on a global scale for an issue that will not affect the majority necessarily so they are probably thinking to get the costing down to allow these levels of phones to be sold at cheaper prices, this is a corner worth cutting. I mean you're having a go at Xiaomi but the whole Samsung S21 series has no DC dimming.
