Hate to say but battery issues are not fixed, 100% to 90% in like 30 minutes
After years of using OnePlus but finally leaving them last year (OP8P being my last) I've come to a couple conclusions. Their community is full of self righteous, lazy complainers. It's such a weird combination. If you don't believe me join their community and scroll through their postings. The other thing I've concluded is that OP over hypes and under delivers. Their unveiling of the OP9P was odd, 90% of it was talking about Hasselblad. Reminded me of Apples 12 series, all they talked about was 5g.
If I was a betting man after the 3 years (could be 4) when their partnership is set to expire OP and Hasselblad will be no more.
Anonymous, 07 Apr 2021Xiaomi are all paper specs , no updates , no real international support and bad quality contro... moreXiaomi has official stores here in Europe, Asia and Australia, physical ones where you can test, buy and repair their phones if needed, so you are lying. OnePlus doesn't have stores and customer services here. You have to rely on external third untrusted services or send your OnePlus phone overseas with all the problems that can happend.
My Xiaomi phones in Europe receive updates, some updades the whole operating system to a new version and the older ones only MIUI. Even my old Redmi Note 4 still receive updates from Xiaomi today after 5 years. For their apps and for MIUI. Is the OnePlus 3 phone from 2016 like the Redmi Note 4 receiving updades from OnePlus today?
Telling lies and trying to misinform is not going to change reality or make people buy. Xiaomi has improved a lot and more than in the future. And without a doubt it offers better products than OnePlus at all levels. And not just on phones.
Each update is a downgrade. Oneplus has adopted Xiaomi's pathetic downgrade policy. Waiting for unofficial XDA Custom ROMS to update my phone.
AnonD-834088, 06 Apr 2021If they got it right at launch fixes wouldn't be needed, that goes for all mobile releases... moreThey need to manufacture the phones which takes alot of time , update dont stop after that. Good for them.

And more n... moreXiaomi are all paper specs , no updates , no real international support and bad quality control and bad software.. Grow up people and look beyond the specs/price there is alot more going on after that.
Anonymous, 06 Apr 2021Go back to One- then "OnePlus updates don't exist here...." so NO. Xiaomi all the way. And more now that OnePlus phones are highly overpriced and below what Xiaomi offer.
I wonder when they will release the Android 11 update for the 7t Pro Maclaren Edition. All their emphasis and focus is on the newborn baby 9 Series while the 1&half year old suffers from an abandonment syndrome. Dunno which brand to turn to next.
