The Android Freak, 08 Jun 2021Anyone won't buy at that price. It doesn't have anything to justify that price. 450E... moreIf its realme eur 100 is the real retaol price.
Who is going to wastw eur500 on a realme product, there are better and proper supported brands much preferable to this companies products.
Rather spend that on an actual well supported different brand of phone. Anything realme....no thanks.
Cyberchum, 08 Jun 2021Lies 😂😂😂 You'd rush it if it was free. LMAO Ok, I'd have it if it was free. But only to use as a doorstop 😉
I hate how phones are so damn expensive these days...
Garbage for this price. Dear Realme, please skip the release in Europe, only thing you achieve with this is making scrolling through phones in shop more difficult.

You aren't installing apps on it nor saving system files, are you?

If the SD 888 GT cost that much, I wonder if it is possible to have a sub-€500 or even a sub-€450 price tag for the Dimensity 1200 GT Neo.

Sony and Motorola alongside ASUS would like to have a word with you. They have SD 870/888 phones and yet can still give microSD card support.
"It's a thing of the past in the upper midrange and flagship segment of the market. It's too slow now compared with on-board UFS storage systems as well as cloud storage with modern upload and download speeds."
Jokes on you, I completely stopped relying on cloud storage and now using a microSD card as my primary backup storage. I recently got a genuine Kingston Class 10 SD card and I'm totally happy with its triple-digit transfer speed. Why bother keeping all files in cloud storage that needs constant internet connection all the time when you can have it all readily accessible anytime anywhere. Also, if you use cloud storage and enable offline download, it won't go to your microSD card. It only goes to your internal storage. For a phone without a microSD card slot, that's a big NO-NO! Oh, Woohoo is right btw, you don't install the OS on the microSD card.
"None of the current Samsung galaxy S21 series have SD card support."
That's your problem for only looking at Samsung. There are a lot of other brands you can have a look at.

For me, the number one factor to filter what phone I want is to check if it has the SD card slot. If it doesn't exist, I absolutely don't care about the rest of the specs anymore and that phone is instantly scratched off the list.
Right now I'm having only 2 options : Note 20 Ultra or Xperia I III. I think I will go back to Sony because it has brought back the headphone jack, there's no silly notch or hole in the display, plus my 8 year old Sony is still working flawless! I'm very pleased with Sony's quality!
Nick, 08 Jun 2021Only 7 bands support for 5G on a 888 Chip, LOL.Oneplus 9 pro costs $969 in india n still supports 2bands n when asked by the tipster if the company can unlock more bands in future via software update.. oneplus denied.
Many Vivo, Oppo midrangers n even realme x7 which costs just over 200$ supports 7bands so it's better to have more for less price.. compare to nasty oneplus n even non flagship Xiaomi.

Dare to Spend!
I'll let them take it and put it up their ar...I'm waiting for this phone for quite some time now and I'm pretty sure everyone will be disappointed with the price and limitations in Europe. There are much better and higher quality phones to go buy at this price range. I won't spend my money on a plastic Chinese bucket.
Overpriced AF

-Yeah most, but not all & people certainly wouldn't mind having it.
"It's too slow now compared with on-board UFS storage systems as well as cloud storage with modern upload and download speeds."
-Again the same bs reason!! What is it too slow for??
You certainly aren't running the whole OS off of it. mSD cards are mostly used for mass (media) storage & quick backups, for which it is more than fast enough. Btw what are "modern U/L & D/L speeds" in your opinion? Most people don't have access to 100s of mbps internet nor do they have unlimited secure cloud storage.
I have always preferred transferring files from the mSD card to my laptop using an adapter rather than using the cable connected directly to the phone, since USB 3.0/3.1 type-C is almost as rare as mSD slots in phones (even some with flagship chipsets, so no wonder there are hardly a few in the mid-range)
