M, 16 Jun 20213 useless cameras, small battery, curved screen... :(Don't forget USB Type C 2.0! Such a shame.
Idk why companies are still proving those 2MP units. Just to advertise it as a triple or quad camera smartphone? If you really think about user experience and camera improvements include atleast 5MP sensors.
The Pro version is a complete disappointment.
One could feel like they are starting over again separated from Huawei, so their phones can't be top notch, but a Pro version should have been either having a better chip (like the SD870) or a Telephoto/Periscope camera, if not both.
Curved display - fail
2x2 useless cameras - epic fail
notafanboy, 16 Jun 2021Better luck next year, Honor.Don't think this is their flagship line, wait for magic in Q4
What is GMS??
Am I the only one finding such cameras array Ugly AF!?

Anders, 16 Jun 2021Midrange SOCs, no headphone jacks, no micro SD, no IR blaster (Which many Honor used to have) ... moreII am happy.
Thiiss is an HONOR
Midrange SOCs, no headphone jacks, no micro SD, no IR blaster (Which many Honor used to have) and way too high price tags. You'd have to have no sense whatsoever to buy this trash
Mijing, 16 Jun 2021So no telephoto lens , in the name of Chinese now all company trash giving all company tele ... moreI've seen that presentation. that was something about 6x zoom, optical I think.
Honor 30 series were a lot better in camera department setups and also better in value for the money. Their CEO was bragging about the freedom now without Huawei. I only can see more expensive phones with worse value/money ratio only due to have GMS support. As we already saw in the V40 series.
For these ones i prefer Vivo X60 series all the way and Samsung A72. Some Xiaomi models or the upcoming Mi Note 11 if you prefer good cameras with a mid-ranger price and SoC.

AnonD-986036, 16 Jun 2021I mean the chip too and the cameras. Mi 11 is an better optionxiaomi=problems with proximity sensors
I mean, isn't the Honor 50 just straight up better than the Pro? Aside from a slightly smaller screen (apparently same specs though), it has the same cameras, bigger battery and slightly slower charging. And all that while it costs 150$ less, the Pro just doesn't make any sense.
AnonD-986036, 16 Jun 2021Dissapointing. Mi 11 is much better in display, chip, wireless charging, and sad to say (bette... moreAlso this isn't the 108mp camera from s21, it's a downgraded version with smaller sensor.. So except changing speed, NOTHING on this phone is high-end..not the display (only fhd), not the SOC, not the camera. It's not revolutionary at all..its just a midrange with a midrange price ( a few years ago you could have bought a real flagship with that money ~500$)..
Anonymous, 16 Jun 2021I'm sure literally every single budget/midrange phone this year has 108/64/48mp + 8mp + 2... moreYeah, hopefully the second half of the year will bring some better camera centric midrangers or budget flagships. They are nearly all doing the same thing at the moment.
Mi 11 is better in everything.
