Thats what happens when you get a phone from a provider rather than biting the bullet and getting a fully unlocked SIM free model.

HTC is like a star in a Movie. Always being beaten at the beginning but will prevail at the end of the day..

I just received the 4.0.4 update for my one x in australia today, recon it will take another 2-3 months for the 4.1.2 to hit my device. screw you htc.

when we receive the iO6 update on iPhone we had it all at the same time (globally). So it's diferrent here in Android. I swap my 4s to HTC one X couple of months ago. The guy told me that he bought the HOX somewhere in Libya however this one is international version. Now I'm using it here in Phinlippines and I put a simcard under GLOBEtel (local carrier here in the phlippines. Do you think my HOX will received JB upgrade? Because no carrier here in the Philippines is offering HOX. only SGS3 and Iphones.

My HTC One ... moreIts an international version with quadcore processor, tegra 3...While the US version is a dual core snapdragon i think..i dont know if there such thing as asian version..i hope it would help :-)

Samsung shame on u have not update Samsung GALAXY S2.the galaxy s2 launched in april 2011 and htc x in may 2012.still its update comming early.COME ON WAKE UP.....

Really amazing to hear that they started from Asia .... This means Indians doesn't have to wait for a long time ... Cheers ... and 4.1.2 .... Awesome ... That's the way to go HTC ....

My HTC One ... moreThey will only ever really specific versions to specific countries. But I'm pretty sure there weren't any versions of the one x released solely for any Asian countries. So unless you have a crappy carrier your all good.
