Anonymous, 30 Oct 2012Samsung's development policy = cool widgets here and there... all out specs. It's all about s... moreI have to agree with u, but at the same time i must say that samsung does not necessitate such things because the android OS complements this lack very well. Its true that if samsung starts on optimisation and adopts the "apple" policy, then undoubtedly with this kind of hardware, it blows away all competition.
What makes sense for me in 2013 after giving us quad A9 cores in 2012 is a flagship with quad A15 cores, a Mali 604 gpu & 1.4 - 1.7 speed, 2 GB ram, 4.8 - 5 " HD+ SAMOLED RGB display it would around 13.6 cm long almost no bezel with 2500 - 2750 mha battery.... sounds plausible compromise? ? Anything less, Samsung will not he True leader they are... let me know what u think
[deleted post]And it seems it's like I thought.
You have no idea what you're talking about at all. Samsung using the cheapest plastic. Lol.
You wanna know what that cheap plastic is called?
Try google: Poly Carbonate Samsung and push the very first link. Get your facts straight, before you go insane calling other people out.
[deleted post]Lol, I love that your argument for them being two different things, is that Sammy phones don't support wireless charging, when in fact, both Note II and S3 does xD
Way to go, in making your point :-)
Do not understand why there's so much emphasis on newer, faster and more cores CPU. Should focus R&D on battery life than to have faster CPU chips
I think the next Galaxy S will be a "shut up and take my money", which is a problem for me because that's what happened to me yesterday with the Nexus 4 xD.
Samsung's development policy = cool widgets here and there... all out specs. It's all about specs, and "its the next big thing"
Apple's development policy = all about the user and user experience.
2 different policies. Samsung should start taking apple's approach. You fandroids can say all you want, but theres a reason why almost 1 in 5 cell phones in the world own and iphone.
I don't know what is a Exynos chipset is, it's probably really fast, but its too point already that, speed is not the main concern for smartphones anymore, its more what the phone can offer.
whats the advantage of these high end cpu's ? if they dont provide documentation then what would happen ? no updates ,no cyanogen support and all the genius devs had left samsung, specially exynos devices . so for a geek person it is useless wether it is exynos5 or 10 or A15 or A25. my heartly request to all customers that always prefer nexus devices.
i m owner of SAMSUNG GALAXY SII suffering from exynosotitis.
Ooh look, something else for S3 fanboys to get mad about because their device doesn't have it.
[deleted post]Actually, wireless charging is just a matter of some sort of sheet coils in the back cover and the s3 already has a kit for such feat(just a back cover replacement).I am not saying Nokia recent phones quality is inferio-i belive its the other way around-, but still the s3 build quality still good and acceptable overall. So next time you release your ego in a rage comment try to avoid karma and irony.
Anonymous, 30 Oct 2012Wow, and you had to wait for that 6 or 7 months? How about an OS that is lag free from launch?... moreyea right. like you had to wait several years for a fifth row of icons. revolutionary!
jAZZ, 30 Oct 2012hey genious. Look up the term "plastic" on the internet. tehre are SEVERAL grades of... moreIts still plastic that doesnt change anything.
Anyway you simply dont understand the reason samsung,LG,Sony,HTC is using plastic,it is to REDUCE the weight so it doesnt feel like your holding a phone made of Glass and metal around it (yeah iPhone).it too doesnt break easily again like iphone,A single drop on the pavement and theres goes your "premium" quaility phone.
Samsung is not gonna release a galaxy s4 for a while. The s3 is the top android and will be for a while
Anonymous, 30 Oct 2012Sure. I suppose Google will play the good sport, sit on their laurels, and wait for Apple Maps... moreDude, Apple Maps already has a lot of features that google maps has. Even some third party free sat navs work as well as Googles. Have you checked out some of the cities in 3D? They piss all over Googles attempts.
