They don't own that shape Junior
😲 a whole 1mm big difference !
@jitesh_devnani
Now this watch will also cost you one kidney 😁😂
[deleted post]That's your opinion. Ever wondered why monitors and TV's aren't circular shape? Now you know why Apple Watch is rectangular shape. You can easier display more digital content on it...
AnonD-1003038, 26 Aug 2021You just can't compare any other watch to Apple Watch. Maybe latest WearOS ones that are ... moreI think you can, it comes down to the product category. Look I'm not saying the Apple watch isn't a great product, it clearly is. And obviously the battery limitations aren't an issue for the many who use an enjoy it.
For me personally though, the Apple Watch just does too much at the cost of stamina, which isn't what I look for in this type of product. I want a watch to track health metrics, let me glance at incoming notifications, calendar appointments, and reminders (but not interact with them, as that is always going to be clumsy and limited on such a small screened device), and tell the time obviously. In short I want my smartwatch to act as an extension of some of the smartphones core function's, not try to replicate it's every function, which will always come with a battery life penalty due to the much smaller form factor . That's my personal take though, I understand others will have different wants and needs.
I have owned both the Watch Series 4 and more recently the SE versions, but I just couldn't get past the battery anxiety feeling on either, and was always looking to disable features in a rather futile effort to extend battery life. Now I have the Fitbit Sense and whilst I understand it's limitations when compared to an Apple Watch, it does feature pretty much all the same health tracking metrics, including the ECG, better sleep tracking (the Apple Watch being late to this function, largely due to those battery limitations), a plethora of notifications across my phone app library, always on display, and it does this with up the 5 days worth of battery.
So the Sense does all that I personally wish a smartwatch do to, And I'm not constantly worrying about the battery life.
Anonymous, 27 Aug 2021When will they change that ugly square shape design? And why would they change their signature rectangular shape and made them look the same as 90% of other smartwatches?

battery performance, that being said i do agree that these watches do a lot with a very small battery, so considerations have to be made for that at least
Jalp , 26 Aug 2021Can any one tell is apple watch have glucometer at this tym ?I don’t think so even if it would be great
DaFink, 26 Aug 2021I have one thing to say to Apple where the Watch is concerned, BATTERY LIFE!!!!! Enough wit... moreYou just can't compare any other watch to Apple Watch. Maybe latest WearOS ones that are coming now. I too would love longer battery life, but given how much stuff it does, I can't blame them for not being able to really last longer. Just all the health stuff seems to be pretty taxing because ever since ECG and irregular heart rhythm has been certified in my country, my battery lasts significantly less.
Can any one tell is apple watch have glucometer at this tym ?
I have one thing to say to Apple where the Watch is concerned, BATTERY LIFE!!!!!
Enough with this 'up to 18 hours' cr*p!
My Fitbit sense gives me around 5 days worth of battery on a single charge. I know it only does about one 5th of the things the Apple Watch does, but seeing as how that one 5th seems to contain all the things I might want a smartwatch to do, I just can't entertain any version of the Apple Watch as an option.
To me, having 5 times the feature set, but with 5 times less battery life is not a good trade off.
They tweaked the shape and now the size, to me that says bigger battery.
That's just 1mm difference. Still, I'd advise everyone to pick bigger versions unless you have a really tiny wrist. I'm still on 44mm Apple Watch 5 and it's perfectly sized.
