Samsung beats Google and Apple this year. But in fairness, the foldables still have bugs to deal with. They need all the software updates they can get. Growing pains from new tech. Harks back to the very first iPhone. Very buggy. The RAM made it crash constantly.

Any Android flagship has better cameras than the iPhone 12 Pro Max these days. The Mi 11 Ultra simply blows it away in both quality and versatility. TechTablets isn't the most thorough at testing cameras.
Same phone every year XD

Two year old camera embarrassing i... moreLMAO, you're quoting my comment for camera quality and quoting it wrong lol. When OnePlus 8T was released, iPhone XR was 2 years old, not the other way around. Jesus you people are BeyondClowns(TM).
You're literally just MOAR OF EVERYTHING. More megapixels, more cores, more specs, more Android features that you pick and choose from 50 Android ROM's all just to claim Android phones are superior. Funny you never mention how Android vendors pretty much doon't care about any of you the moment you buy the phone. Apple at least gives a s**t long enough to support them through entire life cycle and not have them discontinued after 3 years or just on pathetic life support for 4 years max...
Blackkk Mamba , 10 Sep 2021Phones exploding have nothing to do with how hot the processor gets, plz stop such fearmongering. Perhaps you can't read or can not understand what you read
Anonymous, 10 Sep 2021Didn’t MKBHD say that big sensors create problems like focus on S20 UltraThats was already fixed with update.
The main lens gives you lesser area in focus because of big sensor.
There is an option in setting where you can negate that effect during certain closeup shots and viola, no out of focus close up shots.

Two year old camera embarrassing iPhone in blind test.
Software features present on budget Android phones from a decade back, finally trickling down to ios. Everything just points to an ecosystem which is lower tier in every way.
-Trix-, 10 Sep 2021Are you talking about mkbhd blind test :D They don't even offer full size photos and it w... moreThe Zenfone won because its images didn't have the flaw that were present on iPhones which couldn't even get simple things like white balance right.
It also won because it was the most consistent.
It's called optimization that Asus did very well with the imx 686, something iPhone simply couldn't. IPhone lost to a Budget Flagship, lol 😂

If you give images, people can simply look at exif data and determine which is which, thereby beating the purpose of the blind test.
Mkbhd did thoroughly analysis of all image that he clicked with various phones. The iPhone was simply not on par in multiple departments

Just that despite the heat generated by modern processors, phones still do not go boom very often but this incident involving a OnePlus Nord 2 exploding is second or third in recent weeks and would be taken with caution

"The two best photos based on people’s choices were taken with the Zenfone 7 Pro and the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, and the winner was the Zenfone 7 Pro."
You think zenfone 7 Pro offer best camera in the market? Ok.. :D
By the way when you mention 10 million it says it even more that it can't be taken seriously, it's just mean average persons voting and that's exactly why zenfone 7 pro won.

It's high time they start spending more on a proper big sensor that can output image/video quality worthy of the 1000$ price tag.

Did they determine that the processor was the culprit?
Galaxy Note 7 exploded because of design flaws, nothing to do with processor.
Also plenty of iPhones (various models) have exploded in the past. Simple Google search will give you all the catastrophic damages.
you think Apple A series processor was the culprit there?

What matters is that they don't just blow up for no reason and that rarely happens with an iphone or Samsung
Reportedly, another Nord 2 has exploded (again) in India. This time it was a court official's device and it went into flames while being kept inside his robe in a air conditioned office. It was not being charged or anything
[deleted post]That what you get when the company cheapens out and uses small tiny sensor.
Android flagships have 1/1.3" sensor on average for the main camera.
Even the ultrawide sensor on some Android phones is larger than iPhone
