If it doesn't have a real telephoto with at least 3x zoom, then it's DOA I'm afraid.
Jacek, 15 Sep 2021saurabhaj1 was talking about photo watermark, not camera island design.I didn't understand his comment correctly, my mistake.
A trend is about to start with the next generation of phones. Running the same choosey at different clock speeds or with different configurations across a series. Apple reserved it's 5 core GPU for the 13 pro max
Anonymous, 15 Sep 2021"1.0µm pixels" - they are not big at all. Apply 4-to-1 Quad Bayer pixel binning, and you get 12.5MP with 2.0µm pixels. To put that in perspective, the native unbinned 12MP sensor from the main camera of the Samsung Galaxy S21+/S21/S20 FE/S20+/S20 and Sony Xperia 1 iii/5 iii/1 ii/5 ii only has 1.8µm pixels. Even the native unbinned 12MP sensor from the main camera of the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max has an even lower pixel size of 1.7µm.
Afcprise they will reserve their best Camera hardware for the S22 Ultra
Anonymous, 15 Sep 2021"1.0µm pixels" - they are not big at all. Big for 50MP. In 12MP binning mode it would be 4 pixels combined increasing that size.
"Last, but not least, the S22 and S22+ will get an upgraded main camera, namely Samsung's ISOCELL GN5 - a 50MP sensor with all-directional autofocus and big 1.0µm pixels."
Now this is interesting. I definitely prefer this sensor over the existing 108MP Nona Bayer or even the upcoming 200MP sensor.

AnonF-1013367, 15 Sep 2021The camera island most likely will be like the zfold 3So far rumors point to same door hinge design used by S21.
The one from Fold 3 looks miles better.
I'm excited to see the design of S22 series, i hope it's something new 👀
Samsung must redesign their camera watermark.
Current camera watermark do not have simplicity like Xiaomi Redmi note series and Oneplus camera water mark.
There is no need to tell whether camera is quad or triple camera.
Just post Shot on P"hone model name" and in next line name of the person who uses the phone.
