A lot of Android phones get years of security and OS updates, flagship Android phones which fall in the same price as iPhone get at least 3, with 4 for security and some even receive further. So yeah, have your facts right first

Anonymous, 13 Oct 2021Name at least three of those ways. Bet you can’t find anything useful.Lol, I could easily name 20 different things, because I use both platforms daily and know their shortcomings and advantages extensively.
To me these are the top three things that android has which would keep me from completely switching to iOS:
1. Fingerprint reader! More important than ever for obvious reasons.
2. Always on display. Once you try it, can't live without it.
3. Ability to hide ugly notches/punch holes.
These are my personal top three and every android user has their own top three. This should tell you how vast and complex the platform is compared to iOS, which basically comes in one flavor with almost no ability to customize your experience.

Anonymous, 13 Oct 2021Android and it's phones have been growing by leap and bounds, bringing lot of technology ... more” Android and it's phones have been growing by leap and bounds, bringing lot of technology and innovation every year whereas on iPhones things have been too slow as usual”
And same time high-end Android phone sales are heavily down. What’s wrong? Meanwhile Apple is having close to record iPhone sales. Android users keep talking this technology and innovations and sametime those phones are sitting in shelf and almost only Android phones which are selling are low-end phones just because of the price. When you guys come out of that Android tech bubble? And realize that very few cares the stuff you care.
Also you Android users always tend to combine all phones together and prove somekind of point, too bad you can’t combine phones, you need to choose one. So which one we chose? Then we can compare that to new iPhones and see which have overall better hardware. I bet it’s going to be very difficult ;) 13 pro max, by far best battery life in market, best screen, smoothest screen, best face recognition by far, among best still camera, best video cam, around best stereo speakers?

i dont think they show off .. it just android people feel uncomfortable to people who prefer apple than android because they "hate" ...
if u dont believe it, in gsmarena itself , u can see more comment on apple section than android itself ... and u can see more comment coming from android user to express their hatred ...

No doubt Android will rule in coming years, unless apple wakes up from their 'Luxury is iPhone' lie because even that luxury is been far surpassed by Android flagships, their technology is
already better as well, more features, ram etc. IDK why anyone would even buy an iPhone this year, $1000 in this region for a 60hz display phone. How absurd
The real expensive, luxurious and cutting edge mobiles are Android Flagships(sorry, Pixel I am not referring you), Fold and flip are real cutting edge. iPhone is cheap in feature but very expensive like Macs were during 90s. At some point no one will bother. The industry will move on with Android.
I jumped on the Apple train for three months, iOS 15 and all that.
It was more than enough to learn what I already thought.
It was a nice fling, I gave it a chance, but in the end I gladly went back to Android.
With Apple it seemed like I was the one who had to compromise and adapt to the phone, instead of other way around. Android just offers much more openness and setting to your preference.

When they said about switching to iPhone, they did not mean from their primary phone to iPhone because that is going to remain Android. They wanted to switch their secondary dumb phone with an iPhone, that way it can be had as a music player or maybe show off that logo IDK
Anonymous, 13 Oct 2021Name at least three of those ways. Bet you can’t find anything useful. The feature that i can use: usb otg even for external drive, file manager, some model use microsd - use card reader to pc for easy transfer large file, sideload apk (or even modded apk), customizeable user interface
From apps perspective; can use multiple apps in background like torrent, ftp file access (okay, this is just feature of some file manager), game emulator, experimental wine for android, on some model can use dual/clone apps like whatsapp, even some secret storage (okay this i idon't know if it available in other platform or not), standalone download manager, multitasking in split screen, sometimes bluetooth file transfer to old laptop or friends phone, give options to change the way how to navigate through phone
Yeah, i like its flexibility in my case
Okay, sorry, im just passing through here, just ignore me

I can easily see why would so many switch to iPhone. There's not much reasons to buy high-end Android phone over iPhone anymore, year by year Apple have removed most of those reasons. Many will switch to iPhones. Just like the survey says, reason is lack of competitive rivals on the market.
