Mobilemaster, 04 Dec 2012You forgot the word "was".NOkia r a sleeping former giant who seem 2 be struggling badly of late! Their recent history has been riddled with wrong choices starting with Symbian! However, I seriously believe they could learn a few things from (Cr)apple on how to make money using cheap tricks. legal farce and marketing! (Cr)apple are the true shylocks of the tech world and NOkia can learn a lot from 'em in their battle 4 survival!
When talking about Nokia I remember the old days, love, and fun , Nokia used to be symbiaholic in every phone, they didn't taste android in their phone which let me to look to other brand, WP on Nokia is new challenge but not my type.
Nokia is here to stay. Lumia 920 is the one of best smartphone in todays market, and this phne will clear the path for nokia ,to reclaim its lost glory.
Mobilemaster, 04 Dec 2012You forgot the word "was".Why are you so overwhelmed? Have you won the world. Go trol somewhere else. Vultures like you hover on every nokia news.
aka$h, 04 Dec 2012NOKIA god of mobile worldYou forgot the word "was".
It's really sad Sean , but if Nokia tide up with android no need to sell the building.
In many times befor I used to repeat same words like " nokia is dead " .
Let be fair ..
Nokia has leaded the market for long time ago while it was supporting Symbian OS and there were no other OS like it .
Days went and other brands like SAMSUNG , SONYERICSSON etc they hold the new OS Android and it could rock the world amazingly just becouse Symbian not developing it stoped and became stupied too compering Android specially UI .
I loved nokia before coz they made high quality hardware devices , but sorry no more ..
Android is the best now .
The big mistake for nokia was when they leaved MeGoo OS !!!!
nokia and its share holders wanted to be big with big company means nothing.. In fact, Nokia and M$ are OLD and OUT! still think they are big? Arrogant=fail!!
And the lumia phones are doing so well for nokia.Wel done nokia not long to go now.Bad decision in the end up going with a dead operating system like windows
So we all saw this coming right? from 2010-2011 when other manufacturers were upgrading their devices to 1 Gig chipsets ie Captivate, Fascinate etc. Nokia decided to stay with the lesser powered 528 & 600 MHz sets. Then throw in the partnership with MS and there you have it. In my opinion, Samsung, HTC, LG & others had a little bit more foresight. Good luck Nokia.
Observer, 04 Dec 2012I dont think that those people, who are pushing nokia+android, are fanboys. . They might be An... moreWe already have stable android phones in Samsung and Sony. Htc and LG does not belong up there, especially not Htc, so nightmare phones.
By the way, a review i read at amobil.no said WP8 on Lumia 920 is not stable, they mentioned android as the more stable alternative. Dont try to portrait Nokia as the ultimate in hardware and stability, you know its not true, the lowest quality phone i had in modern times is no doubt Nokia N9, but to be fair it was more stable than Htc. The N9 was just 8 months old when it started to show signs of degraded cellular signal, and a few months later it had no signal at all. The HTC had perfect signal after 2 years, not bad considering Htc is garbage phones in a fancy wrapping.
I hope Nokia doesn't go by the wayside. Merging with Microsoft was a bad idea. Had they stuck with MeeGo Harmattan, they would've not only got people to switch from Android, it would've grabbed some of the Appl e Marketshare Pie as well.
Unfortunately they chose the path their on now.
and all the nokia fanboys want meego os, jello os.. ugh whatever u called and i can say those os are pretty dead fetuses!
Observer, 04 Dec 2012FINALLY! A guy with a great sense. I wish everyone here have the same ideology as you. :')True. Zao is cool, level headed and actually knows what they are talking about unlike most fanboys here.
Deliver ANDROID in your amazingly designed smart phones, Nokia will get its top position in smartphones line up by putting up android.
It's sad to see a giant falling down just because some dumb CEO wouldn't listen and change...
