oh hell!
what is that for the price(n96). these n series doesnt provide anything and demand more. see the sony g900 and g700. i guess they are the best in terms of price and provide the same thing what n96 is providing to its users.
nokia 7310 made in china? whre 7310 .type very very very like 6300
well well, G700 and G900 are cheaper than i thought..
but N96? Hell no... Better wait for Xperia X1 or get other PDAs (HTC, Dopod, O2)plus an iPod or a Walkman...
or maybe even a PC or Notebook...
$1180:
a VAIO? maybe yes
an iMac? that's ok!
a N96?? no! definitely NO!
Window is good for pc but WM is bad for phones. I used O2 phs b4. Look like u can do many things. But in fact, Media player suck. All the tasks running behind and make ph slow. you have to go task manager and end them. Unlike S60, not many applications available for downloading. since they are touch screen ph, not even normal java game or application can be installed. If u r busy business man with a need of organiser and editing documents, S60 also can do that. So, N96 is the best.

I am usually a Samsung fan and eagerly await the i900, but in view of what you say, and because you have looked at things empirically viz in a methodologically sound way and I going to have a serious rethink about the HTC. Samsung don't seem to know when the i900 is going to be available, which is poor marketing and even worse PR.
one HTC Diamond and all other far far away.... damn, Nokia, make your hi-end phones WM and touchscreen... or go to hell :/
on the other hand... it's very nice to be an avant-garde, not like this all mass users, traditional and not understanding the future.
Hey where is SE x1

A lot of people don't really bother with camera settings & just use the "auto" setting for comfort. I was very skeptical w/ the Diamond because I'm really happy with my N95, & I never had an HTC phone. So I had to do extensive research on its performance just to make sure I'm making the right decision to switch. As to whether it has a better camera than the N95, I am not sure, all I can say based on what I've seen on reviews, is that it certainly takes good quality pictures and videos (considering that they were beta versions). N95 may have higher pixels, but the Diamond has a way higher resolution, and 3.5mp is actually enough, unless you always blow up your pictures. No question on the display quality of the HTC Diamond. It has way better display quality than the N95 due to its higher resolution & its magnificent VGA screen. Not to mention it has tempered glass protection versus the N95's plastic screen. It's casing is also mostly metal. It's obviously a more durable and better built phone compared to the N95. On web browsing, it wraps the text every time you zoom in, that way you don't have to scroll right and left to read. You can even copy and paste a paragraph from the web. It's really a well thought out phone and could actually outperform the N95. It's also the real competitor for the iphone's touch UI.
Andy S, 30 May 2008I've just heard from a very reliable source that the HTC touch diamonds release in the UK has ... moreYour information is false. HTC Diamond has been out for about a week now. I ordered mine a couple of days ago and they're shipping it to me today, and I hope to have it by tomorrow. I ordered it from Phone-Source.com
SE is just stupid... they lose out on the north american market by excluding 850... and making crappy triband phones, which isn't really much better than the old k790a... who cares about touch focus... i just have to move my hand 1 inch to focus on the person i want ..
look http://www.latest-mobile.com/articles/camera/nokia-n96-with-xenon-flash_4907

I had no idea about night settings, and have been searching for some info. I emailed HTC and in reply they did not mention it, which seems rather daft. This rekindles my interest in the phone, but I am cautious of HTC as a brand as there are negative reports flying around. Anyway thanks again for the reply
yo i thought nokia were putting a xenon flash one the N96, i heard it everywhere man, they took it back to the drawing borads and added one LED for video and One Xenon and i also head they upgraded the battery??? i don think thats the right prise either man are they crazy, i just bought a PS3 and am saving up for a HD LCD what do nokia want me to do sell a kiddney?? plus my N95 8GB is great for the next few months, man you can live life for 1 month in 1000 dollors, eating great food outside plus rent!!! but i think the diamond is a great buy even at a kind of high prise

I have the N95 8gb right now, and on low light conditions, I get better results using the night setting versus using its led flash. So a led flash is really quite useless & is nothing to brag about, and would only help a little in pitch dark conditions, but who takes pictures in pitch dark conditions? If the N95 has a xenon flash, then that would make a big difference.
Because the iphone will be crushed by the HTC diamond and sucks anyway...
What`s wrong with Nokia?!? They only put 16gb and they doubled the price! Better buy the N82, you`ll get a xenon flesh and a pocket friendly device, or lose a xenon flesh, get a touchscreen and you`ll get even more pocket friendly device, the G900! Or get the both for the same price:)
wft n96 1180 $ !!!! is nokia effing crazy? and thought n95 8 gb was expensive! :(
HTC useless as no camera flash.
No mention of Samsung i900 which will probably see this lot off with ease. Any update on availability GSMarea or Samsung??
