I'm not sure about the benefits of a 1080p screen on a sub 5" device... it uses more battery and required more powerful components...
maybe on devices like the note 2 and 7 inch tablets.
Anonymous, 06 Dec 2012enlarging screen size madness continues....In future samsung will supply one cart / elephant with phone to carry
gilbs72, 06 Dec 2012Nah I'm sure you're much much more knowledgeable. I just manage R&D projects which require... moreGood 2 know, I'm also doin my MS in nanotech and am alrdy an engg. grad in mechatronics! Our field will see some of the most cutting edge discoveries n innovations in the coming years, it's a very very dynamic field!
screen of s4 should alitle bigger than s3 maybe 5" but dimension should be the same.
Only expand screen.
The S IV just might be the next 'big' thing.. I mean being the fusion of the S and Note series that it is..
Wait till the Galaxy S V... rumors already coming out that it will be a bendable plastic. so have your smart phone as a flip phone... now if thats true... thats real innovation!
man, 07 Dec 20124.99" ??
why is it getting bigger. even s3 is already big. s2 size is easier to handle imhoyep your right .., Samsung might be innovative but the size of the handset get bigger and bigger compared to s2 and s3 ..,
its good to be innovative but not in size of the handset ..,
you guys better get this phone.
When this phone comes out the s3 becomes obsolete, as google will not allow phones to get any more updates after 1 year.

Terry, 07 Dec 2012High quality plastic able to survive longer in the blender. Just go to Youtube and search for ... moreThose blender videos don't make any sense to me, its not we accidentally blend out cell phones while blending food stuff.
I believe its useless. I dropped my S3 and the protective glass didnt break but the actual display inside did. So how would unbreakable plastic help this?
Lol! To all the Samsung fans this what they are calling innovation? Slap more plastic on to make it cheaper and more prone to scratches especially on something that will be touched with pressure every single time vs glass? OMG! Yes, plastic don't shatter but it will warp, scratch, and deform a lot easier than glass. And yet Samsung is being cheap on designing their phone once again.
