5. Ultra Portable, no need desk or laps.
Laptop benefits:
1. Professional apps.
2. More functional web browsers
3. Able to run higher graphical games..
4. Better for long session on a desk.
5. Support for multi-desktop and extended desktop mode.
6. Access to more ports.
As tablets get stronger and more popular, more apps will be made for it and more developer will make their website support on tablet. Then laptop usefulness will fade even more.
Currently 4 and 5.. maybe 3 (for gaming laptops) is what keep laptop afloat.

I think Lenovo and ASUS still have the best overall quality/price ratios. At least on laptops. Im holding with my tab S7 until the ipads become less restrictive. Hoping for the ipad 10 to be the much anticipated USB C redesign. I would take an ipad air with promotion too.

Aside from drawing and watching videos, I literally dont know what else people expect from a tablet. It will never be as good as a proper laptop because the OS limitations and that they were never designed with keyboard + mouse use in mind

The problem is that Android doesn't care about tablets and App makers don't care about Android tablets either.

xiaomi pad 5 is a good step, and bbk(oppo,vivo,oneplus, realme) will have new tablets. also samsung. plus google sayd that they might have a new skin or OS for foldables and tablets.
