[deleted post]Making waterproof phones = cover all the holes with irritating covers.
Required tech for waterproof phones:
1. bluetooth headset/earphones
2. wireless charging
3. strong speakers
Kevin, 08 Jan 2013Look pretty much like any phone out there..Amazing Design?obvisouly you don't appreciate japanese precision engineering. eg the flap (for waterproofing) is very good quality. you can see the beautifully crafted
Anonymous, 08 Jan 2013Yeah S4 running on trizen. S4 will be the thomb stone of Sammy phones R.I.P sammy.after S3 sudden death issue, I already gave up on Samsung phones. I am buying Xperia Z :)
My hands are itching, i want have it now pleaseee!
Make it quick sony. really quick.
Mesmere, 08 Jan 2013Okay you are joking. It doesn't beat s3 when it comes to battery test though it have 2300 mah ... moreThat's your opinion. It's his/her belief that this is the best smart phone. I have sxs, i chose it over s3 and hox. Why? Because it's the best for me. Don't care if s4 is a monster phone. If you don't like it don't buy it, sammy fanboy.
Very nice looking phones. I do wish sometimes that manufacturers like Sony, Nokia, Samsung, LG, etc... would design phones with multiple Phone OS'es (Android & WP8).
That way, they could extend their market to people who really like a particular design, and their favourite OS.
For me, if this phone was running WP8, I would definately purchase one.

samsung does tend to do that.
Just waiting n observing what new things other manufacturers have to offer and then including all of them with some improvements in it's own.and since they produce most things that they require InHouse,it's easy for them to bring their things quicky to the market.
No wonder some r really pissed at them lol
kurtdean, 08 Jan 2013trill much? its the most classy and most beautiful phone right nowBy the looks of it, I would still prefer the Xperia U or S type of design than this.
And, don't go by nickname. With Nokia hitting the abyss, my next phone would most certainly be from Sony or Apple.
Clint, 08 Jan 2013And the S4 killer is hereOkay you are joking. It doesn't beat s3 when it comes to battery test though it have 2300 mah battery.
If its going to be released late march all talks will be about upcoming sgs4 though some fanboys will get it.
No way it can beat sgs4.

AnonD-78985, 08 Jan 2013Dude gtfo. Nokia is quietly dying , the N920 did not even sell good number and WP is just ugly... moreI agree that Nokia is on its last leg. My current phone, 701, will probably be my last Nokia phone. If I have to go for Android, I will blindly go with Sony any day. In fact, I recommended an Xperia U for a friend who wanted to go for mid-range android recently. Sammy? Well, it is not worth even my time.
Else, I will go for iphone despite its closed ecosystem.

They watch and absorb whatever the competition and their rivals have to offer and then finally drop their bombshell! From a buyer's viewpoint, it's probably worth the wait!
what an amazing design , it's really like no other phone . hope SONY will change their software update policy , so we can but their flagship again

The white list looks kind of gimmick to me. Furthermore, it is still running Android after all. Don't expect good battery saving from the OS. Maybe a windows phone will, but not Android since Android is so powerful.
Loving it so much! Probably Xperia Z my next flagship phone.
Use too many Samsung, kind of bored and feel want switch now...
But........ wait for what Samsung gonna do with S IV 1st. hehe...

It's about time that we got smartphones which can give us at least a couple days with moderate heavy usage! I've heard folks claim about technologies which offer a week on a single charge, but all that's still a few good years away!
Only disappoint IMO, is the water/dust resistance.
This means that all ports are covered to prevent water and dust.
Some people might not like it that way.
Hopefully wireless charging tech is included. (if wireless charging bluetooth headset + wireless charging xperia z .. it would be very nice)
