i'm an worker for a important cellular company in the moment that announced apple i-phone 3g is aviable. the people, the clients, the general public is going crazy is an sucess to much high than the regular nokia. sony ericcson and motorola phone can't compare. the people questions over every funcion, every gadget, the price in specific contract. in the firt day with that is incredible celular, i'ts simply wonderful. dphX twin psymkrx

Undeniably, the Iphone 3G has its strong points and where it does excel, like the original Iphone, it does it very well indeed. But in terms of functionality, its really closer to the bottom with some key or rather basic functions missing. I think it'll sell like hotcakes in Asia and Europe but will turn out to be a one-shot wonder. I think in those part of the world the consumers are a little more tech savvy and calculative when it comes to price vs specification when it comes to their gadgets and while they'll certainly take a look at it, it won't garner the same response as it did in the States.

What I absolutely hate is that the brand is all that carries iPhone... it leaves off so many standard features that people wud crucify any other phone maker for doing. But for some reason on the iPhone this isnt seen as substandard... so when they do add the feature people rejoice as if its the second coming... lol it actually is.

gsmarena say it will effectivly only work with google maps but this could be fixed at a later date..Great,,its like buying a ford car and saying its got no bonnet but this could be fixed at a later date...IT should come with the bonnet to start with not fixed later on,,this phone is starved of features and de-activated items done on purpose so everything you do has to be approved by apple,,bought from apple or totally bow to apples terms conditions to get one as if it is some kind of religion,,but a rudy expensive religeon at that

Ah! just release this Iphone 3G today here in Belgium it looks different from the old one that I had and it's too expencieved with the price of 16Gb 625euro and 515euro for 8Gb but the price did not scare the people it sold out and still lots of people are piss off becouse of limited release and it's simm free choose any network you want.

So the iphone uses a Samsung CPU. I never really considered the Omnia, but now that I found out that the iphone uses a Samsung CPU, I'm considering the Omnia. But I'm still more inclined to waiting for the Meizu MiniOne. The Meizu's display will be a VGA screen with 16m colors and higher resolution than the iphone or the omnia, and, it also utilizes a Samsung CPU. Check it out at Negri Electronics. They're the only one who will seem to be selling the Meizu's.

I think the only bad thing about this phone is the lack of camera/video/mms ability. Otherwise it's fantastic.
